I'm more impressed with the #7 Defense, TBH.

All good numbers to look at for the time being. I'm even really excited about #14 rushing, as opposed to dead last. all those short yardage situations really made me feel comfortable. Luck is no Manning yet, but he brings a different set of skills and threat on those 1 yard situations, because you have to pay attention to his foot speed as well

It was one game and against the Rams, fellas. Hoping for the best but its pre-season. I was impressed with Luck's pocket awareness and decision making, but again, the Rams. We'll see soon enough.

I am looking forward to watching Luck play for about a half to see if he can follow ip last weeks performance against a less than average team and perform as well or better this week against much stiffer competition in the Steelers. I honestly didn't know what to expect from Luck last week, but man, did he look good.

Also, I'd like to see some production from our rookie TEs. We are going to need them to play at a high level this season if we have any shot at the 8-9 wins I predicted.

I'm interested to see if Collie and Luck have the connection that they seem to have so far in practice and the first preseason game.

On D, will we find a second CB? Someone also commented in the game tread last week that it almost looked like we were running a 5-2 D instead of a 3-4. I had the same thought and it we be interesting to see that against Big Ben. He is difficult to get down, even after you get to him, so will that cause problems with the DBs?

Pressure from d. A running game on offense. And some solid backups show up. We are very thin and if a starter goes down we need someone to step up.

Definitely offensive line play. Specifically pass protection.

I think its the nfl.com thing. I saw it somewhere....

But i wish this crap would start already. Anticipation killed me all week. And its freaking preseason. I am a sick individual.

How will Luck read the pressure from the Steelers D?

I want to see the O-Line like many have said here, as well as the running game and short-yardage situations. I think we have a good idea of what we have at QB now, so I'll give Luck time to develop before I focus too much on what he's doing. I want to see if we can continue to keep teams off the scoreboard as well. I'd like to see if Hughes can continue to do what he did last game. A lot to look forward to.

Game will be LIVE on NBC, so don't look for it on the NFL network or you may miss it

It's been said, but I'll second, or third, or fourth that...it's all about the big fellas up front. I want to see the offense and defensive lines play well!

Protection up front, short yardage package, will Hughes be effective at all, Mathis/Freeney progress.

Pretty much in order I'll be looking for:

1. Oline. Can they pick up blitzes, keep Luck upright, and open the occasional running lane?
2. Dlne. Can they not get blown 3yrds backward at the snap?
3. CB. Outside of Powers, do we have any?
4. TEs. So far they've underwhelmed. Particularly Fleener. If we're a two TE O, that needs to change.

Nobody runs on the Steelers or I would include that. It should be a good gauge game to see where we're at.

If Luck can move the ball like he showed, I really couldnt care less how the TEs look. A ball here and there is just fine with me.

As long as the offense moves, i dont care if we have fans catching passes over top draft picks lol

And ONLY this. For me, I just want them to keep Luck from getting blasted. I don't care if we win, or play well or whatever......just DO NOT let him get hurt in a meaningless game. Use both TE's, two RB's and Lamey if you must. Just keep him upright !!!!!
