Well, work is over and my weekend officially begins. Hope I'm not stepping on any toes by opening the first game thread in the new era. But here goes nothing! Although bear hunting season begins in Ontario, Canada in about a week from now, "Bear hunting" season officially begins Sunday afternoon! GO COLTS!!!

I'm very interested to see how the Colts pass rush does against the Bears Oline.

Biggest thing to look for in my opinion. Luck could have an awful game, and I wouldn't be worried about him. He is too good to fail for long.

If we can't get at least a little bit of pressure on the Bears with their LT/RT combo, then that is not a good sign at all for this defense. I know Mathis and Freeney are still learning, I don't expect too much, but if we go the whole game barely sniffing Cutler that is going to be very discouraging. They don't have a good O-line.

I think Luck is going to do just fine. Colts running game needs to get it going early so we can play a balanced offense and keep them on their toes. If the Bears jump out to an early 2 score lead, it could be a long day trying to protect Luck the more he drops back.

What do you guys think is a realistic line for his first game on the road against the Bears? Historically, the Bears have a good defense, but they were only in the middle last year. I think a realistic line would be 20/35 - 2TD, 1INT, 6 Rushes for 30 yards and 1 rushing TD. ...realistically, I think that could happen.

I would be thrilled with that production from the QB position his first game right out of the box.

Do they still employ Mike Martz as their Ocoordinator too?

Looking forward to this game. Last year, I assumed the team had lost before every kickoff. I think Luck and Co. give this team a good chance to win every game.

I'm more worried about our run defense than any other single facet.
