Well, work is over and my weekend officially begins. Hope I'm not stepping on any toes by opening the first game thread in the new era. But here goes nothing! Although bear hunting season begins in Ontario, Canada in about a week from now, "Bear hunting" season officially begins Sunday afternoon! GO COLTS!!!

About time. Work Urlacher's sour ass into the ground. Bash that old defense.

Couple of good runs by Brown, but that TD was in large part due to some fine play from Reggie.

Its kind of hard to intercept a ball while diving and having someone knocking it away.

Also ya, no pressure on Cutler. We arent rushing up the gut any more. Its all on the outside.

WHY

3rd down defense has been atrocious in this game.

How many times are they going to say this is where we miss Dwight Freeney? If it's the same Freeney we saw most of this pre-season, we're not missing much.

Were missing him when were playing 4-3.

I find it very odd we play 3-4 WITH freeney where weve not seen much from him, then he leaves and we immediately go to a formation he thrives in and is needed in.

Two missed tackles after the catch, subsequent to no pass rush

Good god.

I dont even understand. Just give them the TD and get it over with.

The first drives we pressured Cutler up the middle and had success, even though he scrambled out of it a lot. There is NO pressure from the outside yet they keep doing it.

Powers is kinda awful.
He's had some nice plays today.

The zone coverage here is what has killed us.

Four man pass rush and zone. This looks like the same defense we had last year. If that's the hybrid, let's just go full conversion to the 3-4.

Are you kidding me Dierdorf? Do you have money on the game? Marshall is on his butt at the 1 yardline, it isn't a TD.
