Well, work is over and my weekend officially begins. Hope I'm not stepping on any toes by opening the first game thread in the new era. But here goes nothing! Although bear hunting season begins in Ontario, Canada in about a week from now, "Bear hunting" season officially begins Sunday afternoon! GO COLTS!!!

How come all of Lucks passes look like lofty softy passes. They work, but it just looks weird.

SNAP

QUICK DRIVE BRO
It's scary. That was the problem on that pass that should have been Pick 6'D.

Get some points here and get the ball back. that would be nice.
"Tim Jennings is a good football player. Everyone in Indianapolis knows that."

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT???

When it isn't the final seconds of a big game, he is quite average.

He has been average at best since coming to us and he's overpaid. Why do we keep Adam stinking Vinatieri around? I just don't understand that. Missing that kick is a killer. It's your only damn job and you failed. Pretty much routine with Adam. So freaking overrated!

Just glad the coaching staff didn't take a knew and concede the first half. At least they pushed the ball upfield and had a shot at two scores (TD pass / FG )

Actually he's quite underaverage. Most kickers are automatic from inside 40 yards. Vinatieri misses them routinely.

Offense line needs to get it act together.
Is freeney that much of a difference. Colts pass rush as been soft since he left

In pass rush, probably. You can never ignore him on the pass rush, and has always been the catalyst that has allowed Mathis to be as good as he has been.

Against the run, probably not.

3 and out is not going to cut it. The defense is not going to stop anybody today. Might as well knock 5 minutes off the clock, give Chicago 7, then put the ball on the 20 yard line of the Colts. Rinse-lather-repeat until the end of game.

Just gotta remember, not much is expected this year.

All this newness.

I allowed myself to get really psyched up and surprising teams. We still may, but Ive got to remember we arent a contender yet.

Stephen Hill, big WR out of Georgia Tech who I wanted us to grab in the draft, has 2 TD receptions for Jets today. smh
