You know, looking at these matchups like a video game 'team selection' screen, the Colts look like the better team overall... |

It comes down to our pass game and our pass rush. It is very unlikely that we will be able to run on Miami, they are a very good defensive team. So our passing game needs to step up. Also, having our pass rush relatively healthy now, if this team wants to make any true noise we need to get to the QB and force sacks and turnovers, we are not doing either right now. |

17th rushing offense. Why does that make me EXCITED? Good lord. Almost the top half of the league! |

Tennessee is on par to be one of the worst defenses in league history. They're a heck of a slouch. |

Well I dunno about that, but they are ranked 28th against the run, so they're definitely slouches. |

Did you watch last week's game with the sound off? All game the announcers talked about how the Titans defense was on pace to break worst defense ever records. 1981 Colts D got another shout out, which they do anytime anyone is on pace to suck as much as we did then. Good times. |

IMO, the colts need to have the same game plan for defense they had for the Jags and Vikes. Stop their run game. Make their QB beat you. For the offense it has to do with putting points on the scoreboard. Get them down two or three scores and make them play catch up. These all sound easy but it is an execution issue. I am not that confident the colts can do it. Therefore, they need to pull out all the stops. Last week, the dolphins killed the jets on special teams (onside kick and blocked punt) and took chances. The colts need to come in with that attitude of taking chances if they hope to win. A conservative game plan will not win the game today. |

This will be interesting. Miami is the best in the NFL at getting off the field, defensively, on 3rd down. So we need to make those 3rd down conversions. Also, we need to start scoring TD's inside the red zone, because we're still not putting it in the EZ as often as we should. Bottom line: The ability of our OLine to hold up at the point of attack/protect AL, is all important. |

Yes, red zone offense has lacked horribly this year. Way too many FGs. Let Luck run the offense, it seems like every time he does, the offense turns it up a few notches. |

They talked about this earlier, while Luck can run the no huddle, all of the other new guys and rookies cant so they're taking it slow. and I didn't want him to take it out, good return!! Edited by JediColt, Nov 4 2012, 02:03 PM.
