On the one hand it's nice that I get my football fix early this week. It's a nice treat in the middle of the week. On the other though, I usually really look forward to Sunday and now I don't have anything to look forward to this weekend. I mean aside from it being weekend and what not.

Man, ive been up since 3am for work and been home just over an hour. I wont be able to stay awake for the game. So freaking depressing.

If you loved the Colts you'd stay awake. I remember getting up at 3am to watch a pre-season game they played in Japan.

Set an alarm...take a nap...you've got almost 2 hours.
Looks like no Pick 'em for tonight's game, but if there was, I'd take the Colts and the over...with Mathis out.

I would really like to see Mathis and Freeney both on the field and both healthy for a stretch of games and see what kind of effect that would have on the total defense.

Colts just have to grind this one out without Mathis. Let him rest up, come back strong against the PatriOTS. Might be Chapman's first game too.
As for the game tonight... I'm hoping for NO INJURIES and about a 10 pt + win. Need a break from this Cardiac Colts pattern.

Me too. I feel like we really have no idea what we look like as a defense until that happens.

I'd also like to see us protect the ball better. Luck's still at 2 TDs and 6 ints on the road for the season. I'd like to see him move that ratio back in the other direction tonight. He's 8/2 at home for td/int.
colts inactives: Vontae Davis, Jerraud Powers, Samson Satele, Winston Justice, Cliff Geathers, Coby Fleener, Robert Mathis
colts O-line shuffle -- AQ Shipley at C, Jeff Linkenbach at RT. Joe Reitz still at LG, Anthony Castonzo at LT, Mike McGlynn at RG

Dang...kinda tough when 6 of 7 inactives are starters...that's more than 25% of the starters out to begin the game and you knw one or two others won't make it through the whole game.

You know what's ironic? This is the most no name group of RBs we've had since 1993, but is becoming a better rushing attack than we had with Edge or Faulk or Addai.

Well, maybe for Reggie that is a ball he could have somehow caught, but hardly one you expect to be caught. It was out of reach.
Wow, half their drives are 3 and out.
