Don't want to get all sappy in this thread, but we had to put my dog, July, to sleep today. He was a 14 year old Yorkie and was there with me for every Colts game for the past decade plus. Wanting a win tonight for him!
I fell your pain Bent. We (my wife) had to put our dog down a few years ago. True story...I took her to the Vet to have her put down, got her out of the car in the parking lot and just couldn't do it. I took her through the drive-thru at a Wendy's, got her a hamburger and took her back home. My wife took her a couple of days later. I know it can't compare to losing family member, but it sure feels that way.

I get what you're saying, and yeah it can't compare to a human, but that doesn't diminish the loss of a pet. I had an old, blind pug fall into a pool and drown. I gave the dog CPR for 15 minutes before giving up.

I've been crying all day, not afraid to admit it, but I have no regrets. He was ready. Funny though. Don't think I've balled like I did today since the Colts won the Super Bowl. Love you July!

Should be 20-0 at worst instead of 17-3. Difference between a young team (offense) and a veteran one.
