you beat me to it by 5 minutes, I was about to do the same. Not sure why sometimes these threads get started 3 days before the game, and sometimes not at all.

I think IC45 used to start them and the pick em threads, but his computer melted and so he's been less able to spearhead all of that. At least I feel like I remember reading that.
But yeah, it seemed like we were talking about today's game in a couple other threads. Figured we might as well get an OFFICIAL one going. I've gotten used to the noon kickoff though. Waiting until almost 3:30 is going to be hard. :)
WR Wes Welker is expected to play today. TE Aaron Hernandez and RG Dan Connolly are not.

Its on NFL.com in the schedule page i think.

Anyone else just see the Cecil Shorts burn the hell out of the Texans to put the Jags up 14-7?
John Chick with a fumble recovery. Best ex-colt to ever step on the field.

Chad Henne has the jags cranking. They are now up 27-17 on the Texans in the 3rd.

Always thought Chad Henne got the short end of a shitty stick in Miami. I think hes head and shoulders better than Gabbert.

Glad we got our 2 games out of the way lol

Josh Chapman is among the inactives for the Colts today. Won't see his debut in Foxboro. My guess is that they expect to be in a lot of nickel and dime.

For the pats, TE Hernandez, G Mankins, SS Chung, and G Connolly are all out.

Lot of games not going the way you would expect...but the favorites appear to be rallying in most. Cleveland had Dallas down 13-0 at the half and now trail. Texans within a score and getting the ball back. Atlanta rallying against Arizona.

Jville defense looks like garbage. No pass rush and giving them the entire center of the field when they had 3 minutes left. Why you would basically play prevent with that much time left is beyond me.
Well at least theres timeleft. Jax can either drive or be themselves and go 3 and out or turn it over to let Houston win it.
Ball game. Dont think ive ever seen the Texans not implode.

Pissed. Broncos vs Chargers is the CBS late game where I live (Iowa). Freaking unbelievable. I could give a shit less about that game.

The announcer in the Texans game just said that Andre Johnson was no question a future hall of famer. Am I the only one who thinks that's absurd? I mean the guy is a beast, but he hasn't put anything resembling a hall of fame career together yet.

He hasnt because hes on the Texans. Andre Johnson is going to have an amazing career.

AND HE MISSED IT!

Though i have zero faith in Jax to win it.

If Marvin isn't already a HOFer, then Johnson certainly isn't.

Texans march it down the field in OT. Jags D doesn't look like it has anything left in the tank.

Yes i have sunday ticket. But i saw the Broncos game on. Not sure how that game interests people more. Its not even for playoff implications. Denver is awesome and San Diego sucks whale vagina.

I guess it really is all about Peyton. I'd think people would want to see the new kid, Luck, go up against Brady. Colts vs Pats rivalry restored. Why they'd think I would want to see a west coast game is beyond me.
