I don't understand how NE does it. How do mediocre players run 50-yard reverses on you?

Again, they should have onside kick. What is the point of kicking down the field if Brady is going to be able to move the ball to the point where the onside kick would go in just a minute or two?

Because the defense really is not that good. They are spent at this point.

50+ points for NE = you're embarrassing Colts. Do you guys have any pride? Aren't you sick of looking like a joke when you go on the road? For all of the good things we've done, you still can't ignore how awful we are in many aspects of the game.

I worry we're going to get our asses kicked next year when we play a tougher schedule.

And Butler and Vaugh. Yeah, they're not very good. Neither is Bethea (overrated for most of his Colts career) or Zibikowski.
Bethea was a joke, absolute embarrassing joke on that reverse. You're a starter, who has played how many years in the league and that's the best you can do? Joke!

The "tougher schedule" really is only two games. Other than those two, you play the same games everyone else in the divison plays.

Kind of hard to cover receivers when theres no pressure. So Im not sure why some people have their underwear in a bunch about the DBs when they have to chase guys all over the field while brady has a snack in front of our "pass rush".

And I know it's awful to say, but if a team takes a cheap shot and blows out Brady's knee late in a game like this. I'm not surprised.

The only way a TD is going to be stopped is a penalty.

No excuse for the pass rush, but did you see our DBs flailing about as they tried to make a tackle on the reverse? You would have thought Edelman was the most athletic player to ever step on an NFL field the way they tried to get him down.

I think most players would not resort to hurting Brady. Some might but all the others realize they would not want something like that to happen to them.

You can't put this defensive performance on one position group. It was a complete debacle at every level of the defense.

I hope by some miracle we do make the playoffs and play the Pats again. I'd like a second shot. I'd like to stick it to Belichick and Brady.

Most teams though don't behave as disrespectfully as the Pats do. Four minutes left and you're up by 4 TDs, and you're still throwing all over the place?

Will they break their team record? Will they onside kick? Will the Colts get a first down and run out the clock?

Again, the defense isn't really that good. I recognize this is a whole new system and it will take time. Of course, it would help if the guys you are playing weren't your third and fourth stringers.

Actually, I take back calling the Pats out on that last drive. Just went and looked at the play calls. Mostly runs and short passes, we just suck.
