Now you have to hope they can keep them from getting 7.

I see what you're saying, but to me its like having a car that won't run and pointing out that it has bald tires.

Dumb play by Houston. A pass in the middle of the field?

Its dumb that they call both 12 men on the field and offsides when a guy is trying to run onto or off of the field. Its the same penalty.

All in all, this was not too bad. The colts late TD got them back into it.

Down 10 and we get the ball first. It could be MUCH worse.

And i see exactly what youre saying as well. But what makes the difference between halves? Suddenly in the second half of games, we look like we know how to play football. The car isnt suddenly going to have new tires on it.

Im not trying to argue, nor do i think what im saying is 100% correct, im just trying to understand why were lifeless every first 30 minutes.

YES !!!!
we get the ball first
After the way the game started, plus the fumble and blocked punt we are closer than i would of thought
At least we see we can play with Houston at their place

and this with really poor play in front of Luck. The Monster is well on it's way to being built if Grigson can come up with an average NFL offensive line.
Down 10, the run is still an option to start the second half. Ballard had success the first half.

I get what you're saying, and there is some truth to it, but my point is whatever faults Arians has, its clearly our second biggest problem.
Really when you figure the blocked punt, fumble at the 1 and the bad calls that gave the Texans a FG, being down 10 isn't that bad.

Arian's philosophy reminds me of the 60's-70's Raiders. Don't take what they give you, take what you want. Vertical passing game. I would rather see a Bruce Lee/Jeet Kune Do philosophy. Do what works best for you.
