Is this a trap game? Landry, RJF, Bradshaw are out
But we have Freeman, Angerer, and Connor together
Richardson should see the ball a lot . When Brown plays, will they use him like Bradshaw?

Colts 27, Jags 17

Go Colts
Who is our number 3 RB today?
Did Williams get out on roster?
I guess if Richardson or Brown get nicked up, Havili will be our RB

Quite the contrast from last week. Part of me thinks they wanted to come out and throw it around just to show they can. Everyone KNOWS they can, we need to get back to our ground and pound. HUGE difference, I think Luck only threw 27 passes all game last week.

I can't believe it's the offense that continues to disappoint. The play calling is questionable at best...pound the football and then set up the pass. I know it will get better, but there is still a lot of improvement needed.
Agree on the play calling. Chances of getting another 12 - 15 yards and a FG shot was much better than a Hail Mary to end the half. On the other hand, how would you like to be a Jags fan? Colts really don't seem to be playing all that well and still lead by 17.

Maybe Richardson does not know the plays well enough for him to be the bell cow
But let talk about the defense, how many yards? 70 ?
The FG the jags got on a short field

Ya, not to mention we ARE over 100 yards rushing, of course Brown helped with that.

Protection for Luck is the problem here. It seems like they are pass-happy and aren't interested in running the ball. 12 runs vs 27 passes. 2 of those Runs were Luck scrambling!
It's mind boggling, especially since the Jags run D is putrid. It wasn't pretty last week either, but the Colts were able to wear down the 49ers by running it down their throats. I realize the Colts had to change the game plan a bit with Bradshaw out, but less than 10 attempts by Richardson is unacceptable, especially with the lack of pass protection today.

Jacksonville has been keying on the run, so it's completely acceptable.
Every game is going to be different. Just because we run it down SF's throat last week, doesn't mean we can do the same against Jax, especially if they're loading up to stop the run. Hopefully, we get a better offensive showing in the 2nd half, but I'll take a 20-3 lead at the half.

I'm glad I called out Fleenor earlier. He has caught 3 passes since. Two for 1st downs and one TD!

I just can't believe so many of you are bitching so much in a game we're dominating. Yes, we can get better, but we haven't been all that bad. Richardson had nine carries in the first half, that's on pace for 18, which isn't bad and pretty standard for a starting RB. I'm more concerned with the 3 yard per carry average than the number of touches.

Reading this thread you'd think we were the ones down 27-3.
Jax offense is helpless right now.

I would read too much into how well the defense plays against this offense. Giving up more than 9 points would be bad against this offense.

Seems like a lot of times when they give to Richardson, it's like Tecmo Bowl where the D called the right play...

Not bitching, but being constructive. The defense continues to dominate and is obviously a bright spot, but I am concerned about the balance of the offense. Unfortunately, we won't be playing the Jags every week. I do think the Colts have a lot of potential though and wasn't as confident a couple of weeks ago.

Jacksonville has always had a solid defense, I think that's still the case. They just have a really bad offense.

Luck is 7 for 16. Not good. Not one run attempt there.
He's 14 out of 18 since then.
