Winning on the road against the Texans hasn't been as easy in recent years. Betting we get a pretty good fight from them today. This is a big game. Would be a really nice one to win. Hope our receivers are up to the task.

Weird seeing a divisional opponent's kicker not pull off a miracle.

WHOOOOOO! That was a Collinsworth - when he readily admits he's against you and the other team fails!

Remember when he gave Brady his game ball of the week before he even played?? Then we went out and stomped the Patriots?

I'm sure he'll claim the concern for Kubiak was the reason why the Texans lost as well.

NBC already has, of course. Fine though, just helps us continue to fly under the radar, which is never really a bad thing. That was a huge comeback win and all of the talk is about Kubiak. So be it though. Hope he is OK.

Well, it's not like it didn't help our cause.

My question is, how do we convince Andrew Luck that we are already down 20 right at the start of the game? I've never seen a quarterback who could swing so wildly and so quickly from completely terrible to completely unstoppable.

I don't know, I don't mean to be mean, but he's a big part of why we've been so successful against them. Might be a nice guy, but he's a disappointing coach, to be honest.

He already has the nerves you need to be a great QB, everything else will come as progress. He's easily emerging as the best QB from the QB crop from last year.

It certainly did have an impact, but it's all academic I guess, because the Texans are toast.

I could agree more about the impact if they didn't come out with the momentum throughout most of the second half. It was a fourth quarter comeback. We've had plenty of those when Kubiak was there.

6-2, 2 game lead on Titans and 4 game lead over Texans
12-4 or 13-3 ?
Home field in playoffs?

Very true. Not having Kris Brown on their roster helped as well!

Man, its amazing that, despite the ass beating they gave the Colts in the first half, that I never doubted the fact Luck would turn it around. I have zero doubt in the man. ZERO.

When its all said and done, he will be mentioned among the greats.

I've got to say that after being terribly outcoached in the first half, our staff made some great adjustments in the second half. I also think we really missed Toler tonight. He's better than a lot of people give him credit for.

Once again, I was down on the team and pretty much convinced they were going to fail....and once again, I was wrong (thankfully). I am not sure me (and my wife) can take much more of this crappy first half play followed by improved performance in the second half.

Colts are a flawed team and, despite their record, appear to be a one and done if they make it to the playoffs (even if they somehow get the No. 1 seed). Except for the SF and Denver games, they have sleepwalked through the rest of the first halfs of the other games. They just don't seem to know how to put an inferior opponent down quick. If that had been PM out there with Houston, I would have had no serious issue with how the team played. They would have been facing a real QB. This knucklehead was just heaving passes down the field and hoping his receivers would run underneath it. Collinsworth can sing all the praises he wants but this guy will get creamed when he plays a team that has no mercy (like NE).

Anyway, I am glad the Colts won. End of rant.

I was calling for more blitzes all game and when the finally did blitz in the second half, it worked. Just seemed obvious we had to pressure him and not play soft zone coverage. We looked very much like the old cover two defense when we rushed just four and played zone. I understand some of that was the QB we faced and Toler being out, but it doesn't work.

Collinsworth spent about 90% of that game praising Keenum and the Texans, and at the end he had nothing to say accept that he hoped the FG would be good, because he realized at the end that he had just come off as sounding like a dumb Texans homer all night long.

This. For whatever reason, I had the same feeling at halftime of this game that I had at halftime of the AFC Championship game against NE: we were going to pull it off, and I was only watching to see HOW it was going to happen, and not IF it was going to happen.
