The United States condems the recent actions of Brazil. Further more it is requested that the government of Brazil provide financial records to show how they can afford the necessary materials to arm and train able body people.

Diplomats and federal staff have flown to South America to speak with Bolivian officials on ways to prevent a possible flashpoint in the region. Planned deployments to Kuwait in accordance to OEF II have been suspended.

The Federal Republic of Germany also condemns the actions of the Brazilian military and asks that in the interest of peace it's ally and significant trading partner, Brazil, withdraw its troops from the Bolivian border. Germany would hate to lose such a significant partner as Brazil but it can not condone it taking hostile actions against its neighbors.

Today, the White House announced that permission had been granted by the Bolivian government to deploy troops to the South American nation. The objective is to provide increased security to the threatened nation, and give a show of force to Brazil.

Senior officials at the Pentagon have confirmed that units are being issued alerts for deployment, but declined to specify on the details at this time. An analyst, speaking on the condition of anonymity, suggested the US would conduct a two prong presence from both the Bolivian border and South West Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea.

The Prime Minister of India was informed of the current events in Brazil sparked by the Presidential call to arms during a recent Cabinet Meeting. The Prime Minister has already conferred with his Foreign Secretary on the matter, as well as having been in contact with the Indian Ambassador in Brazil.

No official statement has been issued by the Government; however unconfirmed sources agree the Prime Minister has indicated to his Cabinet colleagues should the situation escalate the Indian Government would support any international sanctions against Brazil, particularly diplomatic and economic sanctions.

The Brazilian President called a press confrence to discuss the recent build-up. "Brazil is a peace loving nation, everyone knows that. But now we are wanting our own sphere of influence. We are tired of the US, Russia and China being the only major players on the world stage. Brazil would like to call a Confrence of all the concerned nations though, we realize that we cant fight all of you. We eagerly await your response."

I am hearby ordering that all American advisors to leave the country at once. The American Embassy has been closed and the diplomats deported. The Brazilian Embassy in Washington has been closed. I will not back down, i will unite South America under the Brazilian flag."
