The Federal Republic of Germany also condemns the actions of the Brazilian military and asks that in the interest of peace it's ally and significant trading partner, Brazil, withdraw its troops from the Bolivian border. Germany would hate to lose such a significant partner as Brazil but it can not condone it taking hostile actions against its neighbors. Spoiler: click to toggle |

Today, the White House announced that permission had been granted by the Bolivian government to deploy troops to the South American nation. The objective is to provide increased security to the threatened nation, and give a show of force to Brazil. Senior officials at the Pentagon have confirmed that units are being issued alerts for deployment, but declined to specify on the details at this time. An analyst, speaking on the condition of anonymity, suggested the US would conduct a two prong presence from both the Bolivian border and South West Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. |

The Prime Minister of India was informed of the current events in Brazil sparked by the Presidential call to arms during a recent Cabinet Meeting. The Prime Minister has already conferred with his Foreign Secretary on the matter, as well as having been in contact with the Indian Ambassador in Brazil. No official statement has been issued by the Government; however unconfirmed sources agree the Prime Minister has indicated to his Cabinet colleagues should the situation escalate the Indian Government would support any international sanctions against Brazil, particularly diplomatic and economic sanctions. |
