The Kingdom of Kaiza

The Kingdom

Kaiza sits on the river leading to the northernmost of the Twin Lakes, directly on the river's mouth to the sea. Kaiza is therefore a major seagoing kingdom, dominating trading markets and shipping out its goods of metal and decorative weaponry to other kingdoms around Tenjo. Noted for its picturesque scenery and the way it is built directly into a forest right on a river, Kaiza is a kingdom that stands as the seat of the sea upon the twin lakes.

Kingdom Features
  • Castle: The home of the Ishikawa Clan, this castle has stood for 24 years as the home of the kingdom's power. Currently the ruling seat of Lady Mitsuki Ishikawa.
  • Village: This small village plays home to two major features beyond the myriad people who inhabit the village: one, the famous smithy of Jan Ishikawa, the younger brother of Lady Ishikawa where he produces weaponry that rival all, and two, the seaport for shipping out all of these goods to the world. The seaport marks the lifeblood of the village.
  • Mine: These mines are home to many Pokémon, including some very nasty beasts. However, the kingdom uses this mine to extract their metals and stone for building their village and their wealth, giving them a supply of riches for their venture out into the world. A tall pagoda marks its entrance as the processing facility for the mine.
  • Battlefield: The battlefield of Kaiza is just outside the city, on a grassy island that is surrounded by water in the middle of the river. This battlefield is full of semi-covered holes that lead to underwater holes where Pokémon can use the river to swim underneath the island and resurface either in another place or in the river around the island. One should be careful of thes eholes, for they are well-concealed by grass.
