Number of Members: 7 Number of Posts: 6 Organization: 9 Skin & Graphics: 7 Originality: 6 Quality of Staff: 8 Overall: 7 Notes: At first glance, Netherworld Void looks very professional and very well maintained. I respect the decision to use InvisionPowerBoard for your forum software which is a very good forum software to use and seems to work well for the board's type of setting. There's not very many staff members, but they seem to get the job done. In the future, I believe the recruitment of another staff member would be a very good addition. The members seem to be comfortable and seem to want to see Netherworld Void grow and expand. Activity within Netherworld Void is average. With an average of 23 posts per member, it seems the staff are doing they're job in posting and being active, but members don't seem to want to post. I personally like the way everything is set up for the member group, and it's hard to think of why/how members aren't posting much. One recommendation I have is to set up some friendly & fun competitions. Anime in general is usually fun, but if members aren't having a fun time with it, something has to be wrong with it. I'm not bashing the way things are set up at all and please don't take it that way because your main Anime forums are being used quite a bit. Every time I've viewed Netherworld Void, I haven't seen any members logged in, which could simply be because of time zone differences, but I'd encourage the administration to keep bringing new ideas & material in. Members will only stay with old material for so long, which could be a reason for having 138 members with 0 posts. The Staff's job is to make sure the member flow is steady and increases, and it seems that particular job hasn't been handled very well. Netherworld Void's organization and layout is stellar. I admire the efforts made to make the board member-friendly and professional. Each forum has a unique name and description which is a big plus in my opinion. I also admire your "Vital Kinship" forum. It helps members keep in touch, and get to know each other and seems to be put to good use. The general flow of Netherworld Void is very nice and is material for newer boards to use as a reference as to how to set up forums & such. The skin & graphics area isn't anything to frown upon, but also isn't a strong-point for Netherworld Void. I understand the skin in use is a pre-made skin but one big recommendation is making the effort to add some images to other parts of the skin, including the .maintitle, #submenu, and .darkrows. The banner is very creative and well-designed, and I strongly encourage you to bring that creativity to other parts of the skin even though it would require permission from the skin's copyright holder. The colors chosen all seem to match well except for the hover effect added to the #submenu. Although Netherworld Void has original services & areas, it simply isn't original enough to impress. It seems no measures have been taken to break Netherworld Void away from general Anime forums; I strongly recommend you take more measures to do so. The amount of original areas need to be advertised more & accentuated in order to strike more people's attention. People can't enjoy what they don't know about. To end this review, I'd like to say that I admire Netherworld Void and I'd recommend it to anyone who is an Anime fan. The efforts the Staff and Administration have made to make/maintain this forum have paid off. I encourage you to maintain your enthusiasm & professionalism now, and in the future.
