Notes: Activity within Advertisement Island is about average for a new(er) board. I see that contests are in place which makes for a nice foundation for early growth.
With an average of 27 posts per member, I'd say activity is a little lower than where it should be at this stage, but is still steady nonetheless.
Your advertising efforts seem to be paying off slowly but surely. Currently 80 of your 151 members (53%) have 0 posts. Advertising is another area I strongly encourage you to work with. It may seem now that more members are simply registering and leaving after seeing your ads, than people who are registering and actually posting but evidently advertising is doing some good. As long as advertising techniques are bringing any new members, I encourage you to earnestly maintain your advertising drive. One last recommendation is to encourage your review staff to run their reviews through a spell checker, and to maintain good grammer & punctuation to the best amount possible.

Originality isn't a strong-point for Advertisement Island but it already shows that your on the right path with your "Sticky RoadSigns Ads" and other forums. You've got original ideas, now I encourage you to improvise on those ideas and advertise your original services as much as possible. The current amount of forums covers a wide range of services which can be a good or bad thing, depending on how well each service is used. I believe Advertisement Island makes good use of it's services and works to make these ideas a service to it's members.

At first glance, the skin in use is very good in my opinion, however, I strongly advise that you make use of your designers and get matching images to match the beautiful skin. The banner looks dull and the gradients don't match evenly at all. The team icons in particular caught my eye, in a rather bad way. To begin with, they're very bright and don't flow well with the rest of the skin. The lines being used for the "bevel" effect under the text need to be reduced in opacity. Lastly, the font needs to match the font being used with the rest of the images. The font used in the posting buttons also does not match the rest of the skin. The outline of the text is too bright, and is aliased which creates issues in the flow of the skin as well.

Staff is a skeptical area for Advertisement Island. There are currently 7 staff members with under 20 posts. I strongly recommend encouraging your staff to get at least 20 posts and if this can't be done, I wouldn't mind firing them or letting them retire. Advertisement Island needs strong active staff and the majority of the staff does a good job of maintaining good activity and services, but it's those few members that I'd focus on for now. For every 5 members, there's one staff member ratio-wise. 30 staff members for such a new(er) board is simply too many in my opinion. The only reason I'd have 30 staff members at this point is if they all do a very good job and are active enough to actually know what's going on within the forum. If you are content with the current number/amount of staff members, by all means, keep them but if not, I recommend reducing the number of staff to around 15-18.

To end this review, I'd like to enforce that I admire this forum for no particular reason, and want to see it at it's best which is the reason I may sound a bit 'stern'. Please don't take offense to anything stated, it's simply my opinion in which to help Advertisement Island. Thanks for choosing Überads to 'assess' your forum, and I encourage you to keep making use of our assessment services in the future. B-)
