Sidenotes: In my review of Friction Evolved, my total overall score given is an 8.8. According to the overall score, Friction Evolved doesn't meet the requirements for an "Outstanding Forum" award, but since 4/6 sections of the review were granted a 9 or higher, I feel that Friction Evolved deserves to be awarded as an "Outstanding Forum". :)

Activity within Friction Evolved seems to be quite self-sustaining. Having an average of 27.7 posts per member, it seems that members have generally "dropped by" for visits of sorts and haven't applied their time and effort into the board very well. My main recommendation for Friction Evolved is to increase the amount of advertising, and utilize unique opportunities such as board competitions, events, etc.
Now, not to be mistaken, its pretty apparent that advertising techniques have been used to a large extent. Friction Evolved currently has 509 members with 0 posts and 957 members with 0-10 posts. My goal for the board as a whole is to strive to capture your audience once you've grabbed their attention. Try to make members want to post and partake in the general community. Continue to utilize your unique areas and work to build more.

Organization is a key factor and should never be overlooked. Friction Evolved has a very organized forum structure and separates it's self from the banal majority of general chat boards. I don't have any reccomendations and for that I award the staff and administration a cookie.

The Skin and Graphics within Friction Evolved is simply breathtaking. A multi color scheme is generally hard to successfully convey and use, but Friction Evolved shines in it's appearance. I gave the board a perfect score in this area, because from what I've seen, no area of the board has been ignored or overlooked. Not only is there a replacement or styling to many different regions of the board, but each region seems painstakingly designed and developed.
The only problem I can see is one simply of my opinion. In the overall areas of the skin and graphics, it seems gradients being used for a "bevel" effect, harshly run into bold, monotone blocks of color. I recommend blending the gradient ends into the backgrounds a little better that what is currently used. These problems are extremely minor problems though and would probably be overlooked and/or unnoticed to a new member but I believe this "fix" would help this skin to be just a tad bit better than it already is.

Originality is apparent in most all areas of the board. I commend the administration for going further than where most general chat boards go and for venturing into scarcely used topics and services.

Last but not least, the quality of the staff is near perfect in my opinion. Every board has their faults but I have yet to see those faults, if and that you do a good job "covering them up". Each staff member seems to do their part and is dedicated to their respective fields. Each section of the board's chat areas has an adequate number of moderators and it seems that the administration and staff does a very good job of choosing faithful and active members to "hire". Again, I don't really see a fault in the staff department of Friction Evolved.

I've enjoyed reviewing Friction Evolved immensely and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
