uhm guys. this will be off the plate here...but yeah. Spoiler: click to toggle we said that blood drive ends with ayumi's eye is no where and friends existence restored but she and kishinuma are transfered to a complete different world and such...
and yet...dead patient somehow shows ayumi way older than the CG in blood drive which that means 2 things.
the first that...since dead patient will get a new engine...probably makoto will fix her problem by putting an eye patch...what i mean that makoto probably forgot that ayumi's CG in dead patient had 2 eyes so he may fix it in the new version using the Unity.
and the second thing is...i heard something like. if someone donated his eye to the other for a surgery i forgot it's name. a eye replacement is able..the thing is..the one who donates his/her eye must Die first...which caused more brain trauma to ayumi knowing that someone died for her...
oh and i want to say that....poor ayumi...she is the MOST suffering one in the whole series i mean seriously. her friends died and erased from existence in blood covered. then in book of shadows...she lost her sister and ALSO lost a gallons of blood with a grave wounds. and to take more gas to fire...her and kishinuma's existence have been erased completely in blood drive and her eye is taken out. (Oh.. That really freaking sucks)

Spoiler: click to toggle I think there's no confirmation yet as to whether they are in a different world or just in the same world, but not remembered by anyone.
Ayumi is older in Dead Patient since it is set 5 years after the events in BloodDrive. It is likely that her missing eye, unless it was really restored somehow, will be fixed to be present in DP.
I just thought about something regarding Ayumi and Yoshiki Ayumi was supposed to be sealed along with Heavenly Host right? What if Kishinuma returning caused a change? What if Kishinuma found a way to drag Ayumi back to the real world with her?
I'm thinking that the "Compensation" for the sealing of Heavenly Host was supposed to be everything of Ayumi's, her body, soul, spirit, existance and such. However, Kishinuma's interference could have caused it to work differently or possibly not to work completely.
In Dead Patient, the phenomenon of Darkening exists as a sort of illness. What if the interference to Ayumi's sacrifice led to an incomplete sealing of HH, and still let the Darkening exist in the real world?
Also, as to how they could have lived in the real world: If Kishinuma dragged Ayumi to the real world, then I could see that the price of the sacrifice she did was split for the two of them: Ayumi retains her body, but loses her spirit and existence. Yoshiki, on the other hand, only loses his existence.
My speculation drive is strong today.

Spoiler: click to toggle I'd like to agree with the fact that the CG is just an error but I also feel like it's not so simple. I believe there is a reason why the CG is the way it is. I may be naive, but my gut is telling me that this isn't a mistake.
As for poor Ayumi. The suffering she has expierienced and the horrible ending that she got makes me feel sick. She doesn't deserve all of what happened to her. I have a feeling though that Yoshiki is going to try to make it right. Once again maybe I have too much faith in how happy a horror series could be, but I know that I have seen eveidence of a universal rule that appears in the games: Good always wins over evil. With goodness comes happiness so i think Ayumi will be able to get some happiness in the future.

here is my theory if the picture in dead patient proves to be ayumi. Then there must be an aging from the events in blood drive. But if it ain't, then it must have been a coincidence.

Spoiler: click to toggle Well Dead Patient is 5 years ahead I think. Now I have tweo theories as to why she looks so much older. If sky is correct and Ayumi did have her soul sealed away then maybe her body could age faster. Also it is said that if you partake in certain activities such as Astral Projection, your empty body can become a vessel for any spirits, good or bad who are willing to occupy it. I don't believe in that but in a game with ghosts and such, i wouldn't rule it out.
Now if she still has her soul but has been forced into a state where she can't move or communicate, she may also not be able to sleep. If she is stressed out, tired and sad, she would appear older than her actual age. These factors all have a serious impact on outward appearance.

Reading your post, I can't help but remember the tagline for BloodDrive:
"Happiness is born from much sorrow."
Continue from here. While it is true that the Heavenly Host saga and the story of the Kisaragis have ended, the story of Corpse Party in its entirety hasn't. Now that a clear connection between BloodDrive and Dead Patient has been made, its almost impossible for Ayumi and possibly others to be related to the the story of DP and its characters.
The thing is, Ayumi isn't the central character of DP now, as it is, Ayame is the new main/central heroine of the story. The sad possibility of losing the status of the central character is the ability to die. Now, it opens up the possibility of a tragedy or an end in vain for Ayumi, but perhaps Kedwin will be lenient to give her a better fate. Also, its sad that I think about it, but since this is a new story with new characters, I've thought of the possibility that the good and happy ending would be mostly for them, and not completely for Ayumi and others.
Its just that the event we know right now doesn't help me see a better end for Ayumi, but my fervent hope is that she does get a better fate in the future.

Game of Thrones Spoiler Look at Ned Stark in Game of thrones. he was the protaganist of season 1 and he died in season 1. I feel that Ayame isn't safe from death.

...About Ayame She already isn't exactly "safe" from death, since she does have that gaping hole in her chest and possibly has no heart.
Strangely though, is that she's still alive at that rate.
About Ayumi Now that thing about GoT made me worry about her. She's the central character of the first story, and now she's lost the status of the central character, she really is susceptible to dying now.

Spoiler: click to toggle I don't think that the CGI was a mistake, either.. it's a longshot but what if Yoshiki enabled Ayumi to get a bionic eye? I would say that he'd give her his own eye (he'd probably do it, too), but their eyes are very different. That and she's seen in the cgi with eyes that are the same colour, so that rules Yoshiki put as an eye donor.
However, it's still possible that he did attempt to get a replacement eye, but it didn't go well. we don't know the extent or purpose of its removal quite yet. For all re know, she may have been cursed. She may not be able to regain her eye due to whatever the first Shinozaki said/did. For an example, if Ayumi did recieve a new eye, it's likely she'd still be blind in that eye, or something went wrong with the op.. top early to tell.
