So, this is a thread for posting music. Yup. One last thing before we get started: Make sure to give a name or tag to the videos you link. Embedding works too, but it's a bit of a bother to do on these forums (to embed: click "Flash" at the top, paste the video URL, then set the hight and with [I'd suggest height = 360, width = 640]). This is to make sure the thread doesn't get confusing to browse as it gets bigger. |

Neat. That reminds me a bit of Shoujo Byou, which I'd probably describe as classical/rock with some dark lyrics. Each album kinda tells a story as well. The three links below are all from the same album, so you may be able to hear that. Even though I can't understand the story due to lack of Japanese knowledge, I still find it neat to hear the emotional progression of the albums. Nothing wrong with that. It actually used to be pretty similar for me, where maybe 95% of the music I listened to was from games. That changed for me maybe 5-6 years ago as I started to discover some non-game stuff I could get more into, but game music's still a big chunk of it; maybe 60% or so. |

Close. I thought this was going to be a "What are you listening to now" thread. Still music threads are always awesome. I don't listne to much American music either. Anime/Games/ and just stuff from other countries fill my Ipod. Want to get classical pieces in there but I don't come across any CDs at any stores and don't feel like hunting them online SO I usually listen on YT. Really like when they are recomposed/arranged like in Eternal Sonata, Catherine and Here Carmen Fantasy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmHQ22zZhbk Shoujo Byou <3. Love their sound. Okay, here's a few songs I like. I have a wide variety of styles I enjoy, and here's just a few. This first one was what I considered my theme song when I was going through a really bad depression. I still think to this day that Lunar Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete are the 2 best JRPGs ever made. Call me biased, but I love all the characters. Especially in Lunar 2. I wish we would get more good RPGs like those two, but developers don't write stories like that anymore. The closest I've come to caring about the characters and world as those two games are Persona 3 and Persona 4. They still don't hold a candle to these classics imo though. |

LoL Delta I haven't listened to a Basshunetr or Eiffiel65 song in a loooong time. those brought me back Lunar is awesome. Though I don't get held down by nostalgia I do agree that Lunar was epic. Weird Al if the 1st song was your theme then what was your 2nd?EDIT: Looked through the links........My thoughts I want to play the DoDonPachi series now =( I miss .hack hope we get the fighter Asura Crying  I really liked the themes for that animeCranes and Prong eh. My friend is into them. I don't find the appeal. Guess they aren't my cup of tea. Still nice to break out of my box every now and then. Edited by darkzero16, June 9, 2012, 12:03 pm.
