If you've ever played any of them you know the songs are like puppies and you want to take them home. YES! I have ALL the puppies! ALL OF THEM! PLEASE LEAVE ME TO DROWN IN THEM! ahem. I guess the point I'm trying to make is picking just a few songs is really, really hard. I'd post all the soundtracks in their entirety if I could. So without further ado, my favorites: "Que Sera Sera" "The Moon and The Prince" (Take a dump, a funky dump! ) "Cherry Blossom Times" "Kuru Kuru Rock" "Lonely Rolling Star No More" (This is a remix for "Lonely Rolling Star", but I love the retro feel of this version.) "Sayonara Rolling Star" (I don't have an XBox, so I first heard the remix on Katamari Forever. I like this one better) "Guru Guru Gravity" "Alien" (feat. My favorites would probably be: Sayonara Rolling Star (linked above) Lonely Rolling Star (I kinda get the impression this is one of the most popular Katamari songs) Everlasting Love Bless My Stars Pretty much the entire soundtracks are excellent though, as you said. Also, special mention goes to "Sunbaked Savanna", which may not be quite as catchy as some of the others, but is a really interesting medley of the original Katamari Damacy's soundtrack, particularly due to the sort of instrumentation it uses.

I've decided, "why the hell not". Although I'd much rather just talk about music, even if ( and it may be unfounded) I don't think that anyone will like the stuff that I like (recently mostly death metal, grindcore and US black metal). So without further ado... Babymetal! The "unit" was formed with the theme of "kawaii metal", a combination of pop and heavy metal. Along with the pop vocals there is also amounts of screamed vocals that are credited to the younger members (I don't believe it unless the producer/s edited the vocals to sound masculine). The singles that have been released so far combine those to genres and also some influence from electronic music; the "ヘドバンギャー！！/Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" b-side "ウ・キ・ウ・キ★ミッドナイト/Uki Uki ★ Midnight" features two breakdowns in the (currently popular) dubstep style (link not included). TLDR version: (Mostly) Pop vocals over synth heavy metal.
