Spoiler: click to toggle It wasn't figurative. Her watch was actually stopped until the moment Satoshi told her he doesn't remember anything about her and asks her to stop teasing him about her liking him. She looks disappointed and flinches when he says he doesn't remember anything about her. Immediately afterwards her watch beeps and the stopped numbers on it begin counting downwards again. Satoshi notices how it was stopped for this entire time and suddenly started moving. He asks her if she was measuring something, and she says she was just doing some research. Major Blood Drive spoiler:
Spoiler: click to toggle Also, I don't get why so many people think Kuon will re-birth Sachi. There was nothing to suggest that. She specifically stated that she had tricked Sachi into thinking that she was her mother by consuming part of her body. Here's a quote that pretty much disproves the entire "Kuon will re-birth Sachi theory".
Kuon: "... Sachi . You won't be born. You will never be born in this world. I'm sorry, but that is your fate. So return, back inside your mother's stomach

Spoiler: click to toggle oh... i thought that was a beeper/cell or something... a call from office or something like that
At the very least, don't tell everyone that Satoshi accidentally killed kuon. I mean It stopped when she met satoshi... and when he rejected her.. it goes down again..
Kuon's ability "1000% ability" drains her at the first place...
I think even Kuon would be sad if you said that to her..

Reborn
First... when she eat her memento the teeth... if the purpose of that is to destroy the memento... then she should smash it into a rock... or something 2nd there is this last quote saying "See you again later" she even tries to hug her 3rd you would never be reborn... in that state... maybe as an another person
Of course that just speculation because i dunno japanese... (note: limited vocabulary)

Spoiler: click to toggle Kuon is only continuing a ritual similar to the one Makina seemed to be attempting at her home. Remember all those baby bird bodies in the house and how the teeth enter Ayumi's hand after she trips and lands on one?
My hypothesis is that Makina was trying to force Sachi to be reborn by placing her spirit inside that of an infant animal. Kuon consumes the teeth, similar to how Makina was implanting these teeth into the bodies of the baby birds.
When Kuon asks her to be reborn she is saying she wants Sachi to give up her current existence and allow her spirit to re-enter the cycle of death and re-birth. In other words, Sachi might not be re-born as a human and at that stage the being that is born is no longer the existence known as Sachi. Kuon's wording doesn't suggest anything about herself birthing Sachi at all.
Also, I'm a horror writer with a cynical streak a mile long XP what do you expect.
And my intent was to make it as poignant, tragic, and hurtful as possible.
Spoiler: click to toggle I'll put in a good word for Kuon when I writer her profile though. Your mention of her 1000% ability made me realize that most people don't know how it functions. The common misconception is that she cannot stop it. It can be stopped, but she has to want it to stop it at an emotional level. The Kuon we see during Blood Drive allows the counter to continue ticking down because she no longer has a reason to stay alive. This is not the same as not wanting to die so there no contradiction between this and her parting words at the pillar.
I'll take your comment into consideration though and remove it from these forums.

Spoiler: click to toggle Oh... so that is the dead birds all about...but still Sachi can be reborn not as herself of course we know that... haha... But what about when she (Kuon) said something like "i dont wanna die"... So she took the rejection far... ok. But that doesnt really mean Satoshi killed Kuon.. it was bound to happen her body is the proof. Even if the rejection accelerates her time... Kuon will never think of Satoshi that way!! You damn cynical bastard! J/k... sorry for the name calling... i love kuon so much haha..i dont want her to be tainted by your words.. i mean out of all the characters she has the only one who has a cutesy self narrative profile in BD book Im following your tumblr damnit
EDIT: Im tired so there are a lots of mistake in grammar so forgive me.. Also dont be subjective with doing bios haha

Spoiler: click to toggle Follow and read my fanfic first. That's the main reason I'm doing all of this XP. (Also leave a review) I'm not entirely sure about her words in that part, she does mention she has regrets and other things. However, I know that not wanting to die is not the same as wanting to live. Wanting to live is a proactive emotion. Not wanting to die is merely an avoidance. The Garden of Sinners explores this concept rather interestingly and you're better off reading or watching that instead of me talking about it. I'm guessing she lost the will to live because Satoshi no longer remember how they met or what sort of relationship they were in. She mentions that their meeting was something like a miracle. It is possible that she gave up trying to do that again because this Satoshi will never be able to love her the way the one he took the place of did. Since it's the conclusion of a genius we'll just have to take her word for how impossible it would have been for this Satoshi to love her or interact with her like the one she remembers did. As for why Kuon fell in love with Satoshi, it may be because he is similar in a way. For example, Kuon cares massively about others, often risking death to save them. It may be that their first meeting was the first time she met a person who didn't want her to do anything for them. He just wanted her to be with them (of course as a teacher and a friend but I can imagine this being taken out of context via his Harem King(?) ability.). Magari mentions that Kuon was an individual who ended up using her special ability for those around her at their will and ended up in the state she is now. It's hinted that Kuon had the option not to do this but she decided not to. Also in her post mortem chat with Satoshi after destroying the pillar she mentions how, "When I thought [I want to live]... the numbers on the clock stopped decreasing." until then she merely looked at the watch thinking that it was alright if she died, that she'd simply disappear. Until then she'd do what she could do and that was that. It is suggested her natural genius allowed her to figure out when she would die. I guess she used up her body because she knew when the end would come and wanted to live what she had to the fullest. What I'm saying is that the order of things is reversed. Because Kuon saw when she would die she started using her ability to the extent it deteriorated her body. Not, she used up her body and then wanted a way to figure out how much time she had left. That was my interpretation of it at least. As for why I say her natural genius figured out when she was going to die, she mentions that it is her different brain structure that figured out when she wold die and not any of her other abilities.
Spoiler: click to toggle Additionally, I don't think I'm being that subjective. From just looking at the facts, it was Satoshi which caused the counter to start going down. If he had been a bit more sensitive to her emotions or simply not appeared then she wouldn't have started dieing again. It isn't wrong in any sense, just phrased such that the responsibility is perceived to be placed on Satoshi. In actuality there was nothing that could be done in any case. If you want to hate someone for her death then hate 5pb and GrisGris for writing it out.
Kuon herself probably wouldn't phrase it like that, but from just the list of events without intention, or excuses of ignorance Satoshi is the cause for Kuon losing the will to live.

Damn i havent watched that film...
Got a point there...its 2 am and im very sleepy ill read the fanfic later
She lost the reason to live... techically yes, satoshi was involved but she will not blame Satoshi for her death...
I dont really know but your phrasing irks me
Lets continue this in the PM.... im taking too much space here haha

Yuka Mochida

持田 由香 (もちだ ゆか)
Age: 14
Height: 140cm (4’7”)
Weight: 34.2kg (75lb)
Birthdate: October 2, 1994
Blood Type: A
Student Life:
Spoiler: click to toggle Seems to be an average student. No reports of any subjects she excels at or struggles with.
She seems a little bit of the dreamy sort in class as she has accidentally voiced her dream of marrying her brother multiple times at school. (Probably not during lessons but during breaks and lunch)
Like her brother, she isn’t involved in any after school clubs or activities.
Although she is very kind to others her immature appearance and mannerisms protect her from becoming a gopher like her brother. (Gopher: slang for someone who has all sorts of odd jobs and small tasks pushed on to them.)
"She’s soooo cute!!!"
(Suzumoto, Mayu and Shinozaki, Ayumi’s first reaction to Yuka)
Unlike Satoshi, who’s friendly nature is generated by his casual aura, Yuka’s pull on other people come from her cuteness. Many older girls have squee’d over the younger Mochida sibling and have gone to some lengths to protect her during the events of Heavenly Host. Most mornings she walks to school with her brother and/or with her best friend Mizuhara Satsuki.
Carries some headache medicine with her in the pocket of her school uniform suggesting she may suffer from headaches regularly. Is currently suffering from urinary incontinence ever since returning from Heavenly Host.
(Urinary Incontinence: the inability to prevent yourself from peeing. May stem from psychological stress or physical damage to the sphincter muscles of the bladder.
Yuka’s seems to be an odd case as she does not realize she needs to go to the bathroom until after leaking.(Personal opinion is that it is a form of structural incontinence (i.e. there is something wrong with the bladder’s muscles) as most sufferers of neural or psychological based incontinence feel the need or urge to use the bathroom before the event.
Additionally her mother mentions that the cause could not be figured out when they went to the hospital. Structural incontinence can be difficult to identify without the usage of specialized media(No, I do not mean medicine. I mean dyes.). Standard X-rays coupled with iodine based contrast dyes may not show them. (It is unlikely she underwent a vaginogram(one of the published ways of finding structural incontinence) as it would require catheters and diatrizoate sodium solution which has many harmful side effects.)) (TLDR: Kizami has a really strong kick…)
Prefers bikini type swim suits over one piece ones.
Personality:
Spoiler: click to toggle "So, if you ever want to do something bad again, or feel like you’re going crazy… please talk to me. Then Yuka will tell you, "You can’t do that." until you understand."
(Yuka scolding a bad person)
Child like yet caring for others, Yuka has a strong moral compass and has the same mindset as her brother. i.e. she wishes for everyone around to be happy and friendly with each other.
"Are you alright…? Does your head hurt? There are some headache pills in Yuka’s pocket. You can take it out and have some."
(Yuka’s kind nature)
She tries to help others despite her childish nature, even those who have tried to harm her. However, her being kind to a person does not mean she has forgiven them. She lives the saying, “Two wrongs don’t make a right” to a fault by being so kind to others.
"Satsuki-chan! You have to be quiet once it starts, okay?"
(Yuka cautioning Satsuki)
Despite being childish, she is quick to caution and warn others should they misbehave. She isn’t afraid of voicing her opinion in these cases.
She is sociable with others but not extremely popular. Has not been seen with a large group of friends and often spends her free time with her brother either on shopping dates or at home.
"Big sister? A big sister huh? Ehehehe!"
(Yuka happy after being called big sister by a little girl.)
Although she makes no effort to become a leader or someone dependable, she doesn’t mind being looked up to, neither does she shirk the responsibilities once they are placed on her. Additionally, having someone depend on her gives her a strength of spirit she does not usually have. (This does not give her any special abilities, so all it does is make her panic less.)
"Uwaaaaaaahhhh, scary…"
(Yuka’s reaction to the spartan nature of women when two of them grab the same swimsuit)
A pacifistic individual, the most aggressive things she can do is shout. Shies away from conflict in general, but will try her hardest should something important to her be threatened. (She will still break down into tears if pushed though.)
It is worth noting that she does not behave childlike but is childlike. She can still enjoy being bounced on someone’s lap like a toddler (She is 14 by the way.). In other words her immaturity is genuine and not something faked.
This immaturity does not prevent her from being perceptive and sensitive to the feelings of others. Like her brother though, her naive outlook, accommodating nature, and pacifistic tendencies often makes her misjudge or not act upon some of the things she picks up. Leans on things when bored.
Her hobbies include shopping, collecting scented beads, and teasing her brother.
Relationships:
Spoiler: click to toggle Is best friends with Mizuhara, Satsuki. She knew Kishinuma, Yoshiki before meeting Nakashima, Naomi (who is Satoshi’s childhood friend). Although, this maybe due to Satoshi using Yoshiki as an excuse for rejecting some of her shopping dates. (Alternative reason given in Ch. 23 of my fanfiction) Infatuated with her older brother, she loves him as more than a sibling. However, she has yet to tell him these feelings directly even though she has accidentally said, “I wonder if I can’t marry (my older brother)” in front of Satsuki on more than one occasion while sighing. (Sexual education is not as well developed in Japan as it is in western countries. Some schools did not having a sex education program even after 2011(Corpse Party takes place in 2008). It may be possible that Yuka doesn’t understand what marrying would fully imply, although it should be noted that she does read some shoujo manga so her knowledge on the topic may be skewed.) (TLDR: Maybe she wants her brother, maybe she doesn’t. However, she has no problems competing with other girls for the right to kiss him.) She is friends with Naomi ever since Heavenly Host and looks up to both Ayumi and Naomi as her “big sisters”. "(If Satoshi finds out I made Yuka cry there’s no telling what he’ll say to me…)"(Yoshiki fearful of Satoshi) Her brother is protective of her, but he’s trying to get her to be more independent. Yuka refuses this though with a childish happy-go-lucky “No!” every time. "Hateful woman…"(Shinozaki, Sachiko to Mochida, Yuka) Was the target of a large amount of resentment from Sachiko. She was killed and tortured multiple times by the girl in red with each death not being made “fact” so the master of Heavenly Host could kill her in a different way next time.
Abilities:
Spoiler: click to toggle Before Heavenly Host, she has no notable spiritual abilities. Afterwards her close proximity to Sachiko (More specifically the numerous “fates” that she was forced to go through that were not turned into “facts”) gives her some interesting traits.
High levels of spiritual energy:
An attribute possessed by all the survivors of Heavenly Host or “Heavenly Host Survivors”. However, Mochida, Yuka’s levels of spiritual energy are much higher even compared to them. Apparently, being so close to Shinozaki, Sachiko had affected her in some way to turn her into a “Fountain of Spiritual Energy”. Kiriya, Mist intended to use her as a pipeline to transfer the consciousness of the Nirvana into his new “Book of Shadows” by exploiting this attribute.
"The Imp" from Blood Drive also exploits this trait to "wear" her.
(From these two points this ability seems to be a form of carrying capacity that allows her to take in a variety of spiritual things or energies. (Perhaps, her time being murdered repeatedly by Sachiko enhanced her resilience to spiritual effects. Thus, she can survive or take in spiritual existences that would break other people.))
Introspection Manifestation
During “Book of Shadows” a certain character attempted to murder her but during the attempt experienced very detailed and confusing flashbacks that delayed him killing her. Additionally, the murderer experienced heavy headaches as well as emotions he was never able to feel before. Whether this is an effect of the school, Yuka herself, or the murderer’s own conscience that lay dormant for 17 years suddenly kicking in is unknown. (As the murderer in question was killed shortly afterwards the full effect is unknown. Whether it manifests as a form of mental collapse or a sort of mental reprogramming towards normal cognitive capability is unknown.) Another murder also displayed hesitation in killing her and attempted to help her before being reprimanded by Sachiko. (It should also be pointed out that this murderer disobeyed Sachiko for Yuka.)(It is possible that this was in character for this murderer, so it is less likely the cause of this disobedience was Yuka herself.)
Cuteness (?)
The majority of the cast of Corpse Party help or have protective feelings towards this character. Semi-strangers will occasionally come in to help her out of a bind and even her friends are protective of her. (Although Satsuki was told to do this.) (and no I’m not referring to Kizami, I’m referring to Tohko. (Don’t bother re-playing Blood Covered, go buy Hysteric Birthday 2U and support Team GrisGris!))
Blue eyes
Not really an ability, more a curiosity.
Her eye color is technically inheritable from two brown eyed parents. It would require both her parents being descended (at least partially) from foreigners. It is either that or she has a mutation in the OCA2 gene which controls the production of melanin. As both she and her brother have lighter brown hair both are possible. Hot air breath
A special ability only usable on Mochida, Satoshi.
When used in conjunction with a sneak attack will surprise him 10 times out of 10. Utilizes the heat of air blown through the lungs at point blank range to inflict maximum dermal based surprise. (Has an additional effect of increasing her meta-cuteness by 5 ranks) (Yes, I am joking.)
(N.B. If my humor or writing seems a bit off key, please understand this was written in a room where the temperature is currently 5C and it is 00:44 at the moment.)

Spoiler: click to toggle "MAXIMUM DERMAL BASED SURPRISE" It's power is Over 9000!!!! Haha... Anyway, the Mochida family seems to be full of surprises... even before BoS, I was always thinking of the two having a sort of possible supernatural background as well... as you have said in both of their profile... Wonder if this will really be touched in future games... or we are just overthinking this Sorry for my stupidity but Though i have a question though... Yuki specifically mentioned to bring the statue to Satoshi... is there any reason for that? If i remember it well, there isnt any moments that both yuki and Satoshi are seen together... only Ryou... Also in the japanese version... does it really state satoshi as well

Spoiler: click to toggle I think the reason for having Ayumi hand the statue to Satoshi was that Sachiko was too close to Satoshi and co. for her to interfere with them. This may be because Sachiko was interested in Yuka or she was interested in Satoshi.

Spoiler: click to toggle Though wouldnt it put much risk to Satoshi and Co. as well? Risking both the statues to the ones closer to Sachiko...
I notice that as well, that Sachiko had a special interest for Satoshi as well... havent ENTIRELY played 2U just watched some livestream incompletely haha...
Is it the harem gland working or is there something more...
Also i forgot it as well, but Satoshi fully remembering the events in the groundhog ending... is it because of sachiko playing with him or is it an another trait... i didnt see it in profile why is that?
Accdg to BC Manga, Escaping without appeasing sachiko is unpredictable as Sachiko encroach an another barrier with Naho's Power... i guess thats is the possibility whu there is a groundhog ending bu for Satoshi fully remembers that... Satoshi may something more than meets the eye...
