I thought Nirvana is freedom from Samsara.. The cycle of birth and death

You continue reincarnating over and over again until you attain Nirvana, complete peace or something like that...

In Corpse Party terms

Edit: My Views? Heaven and Hell stuff...

The removal of one's self from Samsara is technically the Indian version of the Nirvana.

Most other places simply have it as a state or place of enlightenment where one is free from all wants of the flesh.

Regardless, the Japanese interpretation of it is mainly that the escape of samsara is a side effect of achieving true enlightenment, not the reason for achieving it. If one wishes to reach Nirvana in order to escape Samsara, then they cannot attain or enter Nirvana no matter how hard they try, as their intention itself is based off of a desire.

I can also translate from Japanese to English. Open to requests.

Consciousness, thought and memory are all functions of the brain, which therefore cease when the brain no longer functions.
Death is the end for the individual, but it's important to remember that the world will continue without you even long after, so do whatever you can to make the future better, even if that future doesn't include you.

A lot of people think that a person who doesn't believe in an afterlife or in any kind of continued existence after death must have nothing to live for, but I have to disagree, and maybe these quotes will help illustrate why:
"Matter flows from place to place, and momentarily comes together to be you. Some people find that thought disturbing; I find the reality thrilling." ~Professor C Richard Dawkins, biologist, educator, author and human rights advocate
"My three children [are] my only chance at a life after death, let alone an eternal one." ~Christopher Hitchens, journalist, author and human rights advocate
"Societies become great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in." ~Ancient Greek proverb
"Life, just like the stars, the planets, and the galaxies, is just a temporary structure on the long road from order to disorder. But that doesn't make us insignificant, because we are the Cosmos made conscious. Life is the means by which the universe understands itself. And for me, our true significance lies in our ability to understand and explore this beautiful universe." ~Professor Brian Cox, physicist, educator and author
