Hello y'all beautiful friggin' people, Mattie here. So I got Blood Drive mmnn... yesterday, now I haven't played through the entire game since... ya know, I got it yesterday but I was wondering if you guys had any "I don't like this about the game" kind of things. First off, when the intro screen was rolling with all the logos one really caught my eye and that was the Unity Engine logo. I didn't know this game was made in Unity, so the first thought that ran through my head, having used the Unity Engine for a bit before, I wonder how the PS Vita is gonna hold up using it. Now, being a slight PC Gamer and a PS4 gamer in certain cases, I was questioning: Anti-Aliasing, a tad bit about Post=Processing and how shadows will effect everything, cause shadows, for some reason are very hardware taxing. So for the first... I dunno.. 20 minutes of the game was adorable with their Attack on Titan character models. And then I got to the part with Ayumi and the flashlight... Oh my god, the flashlight. The lighting was great... when you stood still. When you moved the frame rate dropped by like 7. It's a small gripe of mine. Frame rate is everything tbh. The game is still 100% playable but I wanna be chased down a hall in fluidity, not in a 15 frames per second stutter fest. So I opted to not use the flashlight at all. What are yous guyses gripes with the game? No game is perfect, and I'm just curious. |

Phantoms. I guess it's nice that they can follow you throughout the school and actually hit you (compared to lolcan'tcatchme from Blood Covered) but it really makes exploring a pain. |

Not exactly gripe rather wish something was different...BD is a great game and mostly i am here for the story... so yeah... im not really bothered by framerates nor load times... 1. The choices... the choices is rather for the moment now rather than for the whole chapter... its choose the correct one or die... thats it... unlike in BC... there is a lot of choices not ending in immediate game overs but more later on. I wish (yeah, its hard but im fine with it)) there was like a chapter 5.. where you feel your choices does matter... and not just a live or die button. Well i guess they are pushing it as a finale, they have chosen the straight forward way rather than multiple branching.. which is still ok for me since im very satisfied myself on how the story work itself up. 2. Not spoiler i guess... the Pendulum blades feels like it was put there to have a "puzzle". Its pretty hard not to mention every game over puts you in the main menu ahaha... |

A number of difficulty spikes and s few dialogue scenes that drag on a bit, but other than that it's a 9/10 For me. Amazing horror game in general but also really captures the essence of yandere anime and makes me think a lot of shows like Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. This game is what I had hoped Silent Hill Book Of Memories would be. Also, IMO, using the flashlight isn't optional. There comes a point in the game where there are hazards and traps that are basically impossible to see without it. Edited by Sc1ss0rw4lker, October 19, 2015, 4:54 am.

I haven't got Blood Drive yet (coming in the mail!), but I remember hearing even from Japanese reviews that the framerate is unacceptable, and I'm definitely sad to hear that the following post-release patches haven't fixed that (I'm imagining that the US version comes with the latest JP patch). Framerate is always a huge thing for me and while I can forgive minor framerate drops, consistent and constant framerate drops/crawls can get on my nerves. :-/. For instance, I remember New Little King's story had a LOT of framerate problems on the Vita as well, but it was work-aroundable by having a small but powerful team of villagers instead of a massive population cap team. However, it doesn't seem like it's as-workaroundable in Blood Drive as it was for New Little King's Story... but we'll see how it is for me when I get the cart. I imagine I'll have fun regardless and enjoy it for what it is, it just still saddens me that 5pb didn't find a way to make the game run better. |

Honestly, I don't find the framerate to be that bad. I just don't keep the flashlight on at all times, using it only when I want to actually see something. |

This was the first thing to come to mind when I read the topic title. It also doesn't help that that specific area in the game has the longest loading screen. Edited by spookyfan2, November 27, 2015, 4:44 pm.

I still hate that all the old villains and the characters who died barely get their dues in this game. |

Old villains? Do you mean Yanagihori? Also, what do you mean by dues? Did you want everyone brought back to life? |
