I'm confused....I saw ManlyBadassHero play the game all the way through, but I never figured out who that ghost girl at the end was.

Who is the white hair girl? And who is Sachi? *scratches head*

If anyone knows, you can PM me if you don't wanna put your comment in spoilers. Thanks! ^_^

I just feel like I missed something....tbh I did take a day's break between each part he put up so I probably forgot a TON of stuff anyways (might wanna rewatch it in one go).

If you say anime is 'just for kids', I will tie you to a chair and make you watch Elfen Lied and Higurashi until you cry buckets of tears!(jk)

For "ghost girl at the end", do you mean the Queen?

The Queen

Hijiri is correct about Sachi.

Sachi

There's a topic here discussing it, but "The Queen" is known by that title due to being the existence that supposedly was in control of the life of every witch in existence.

The Queen is someone who relives being executed in the various ways the witches were executed and doesn't look like a Queen. She is gaunt and looks more like a prisoner than a ruler.

I think that she was a weapon of the witch hunts.

An idea that is often used in Corpse Party is the idea of definition and existence. I believe that the Queen was a being that was only defined as a witch. She only existed as a witch, nothing else, a sort of empty person with only one definition. Therefore, she would continue to exist as long as witches existed. Thus, if she was killed a paradox would occur as a "witch" had died but "witches" still existed. Thus, she would not die, but another "witch" would be killed instead. Thus, the witch hunts tried to purge all witches by killing the Queen over and over again.

Her dialogue also suggests this:

The Latin is apparently incorrect, but the Japanese dialogue in the fanbook is supposedly what she is meant to say.

Latin: 「pauperes, Intelléctus potest?」
Japanese: 「受け止められるか」
English: “Can you take it?”

Latin: 「Experientia gehènnam succendit eam?」
Japanese: 「*業火に焼かれた事はあるか」
English: “Have you ever been burned the flames of purgatory*?”

*業火 is the Buddhist concept of suffering in penance for one's sins, that is likened to fire. For the witches who were incinerated for the sin of being witches, this took a more literal meaning.

Latin: 「Veru organum esse skewered ?」
English: “To have your organs skewered?”

Latin: 「solitarius」
Japanese: 「寂しい」
English: “I’m lonely.”

solitarius = Solitary; lonely.

That would be unlikely.

If The Queen was Zaion, then Ayumi's grandparent lived for a few hundred years before coming to Japan, as the last witch hunts were in the 1800s. As Yoshie died in 1953 at the age of 23 and Raki looks like she had Yoshie at the age of 20 or possibly late teens, there's a gap from 1900s to the 1811 that can only be filled by Zaion and Seira.

Additionally, she is not an amalgamation of anything, but the representative. She is an individual human being, but from the moment she was born she was only ever a witch and nothing else.
