And yes, I'll admit, I've not played Blood Drive yet, cause I wanna experience it, but I don't yet possess a Vita. Also, yeah, imagine just a lady dressed like a teacher, holding a sword one second, only to order in a large swarm of bodyguard looking guys with medieval weapons rush into the enemy. As for me, if possible, a mix between melee with a sword, and a ranged gunslinger, with an emphasis on speed. If just one, then I'll take ranged with a gun or bow. One for loud burning pain shot at high speeds, the other for quiet stealthy snipping.

Technically the class PSP-ist is looking for is a Pirate xD you know Sword on one hand and gun in the other (ex Cervantes from Soul Calibur/Edge) Like i said earlier, my favorite type of weapon is a gigantic sword.... you know Uber Size swords that is really impractical in real life... Slicing through tens or even hundreds of enemies in one clean swipe... Although Kuon is strong physically, i dont think she is the warrior type.. She is more like the Sage type...
