Might just be me but the axes weren't too bad. I got it on the 3rd or 4th try. Out of place, absolutely, but they didn't make me want to break my vita. Also, in the encyclopedia entry for the pool, it says Ayumi took swimming lessons after she almost drowned.

As for it being their first time doing 3D, that's not an excuse. They're a professional game development studio and a measure of quality is to be expected.
Exactly like I said. If is first time, it's quite understandable. The soundtracks were amazing thou. But like I said, the expectation were higher. Even being a profesional studio, like I said, it recquire lots of training. Specially Unity is more like for mobile games, I expected in seeing not just a better quality but expected to see something that would surpass CP Blood Covered. Can't be exigent, but like I said, if the 3d isn't good, leave it for Dead Patient and do 2d of Blood Drive. And keep training while doing the game.
Axes really were a giant problem for me becuase they used 2D angles for a 3d game which is ABSOLUTELY wrong. But like I said I don't guilt of course, but I'll prefer to see a fanmade of Blood Drive in 2d or the full manga.
Also, kind of made sense, but as I saw in there it was kind of weird because she was like "drowning and swimming" very badly lol hahahha

To be fair, both 5pb and Mages as i recall, visual novel is their forte... i dont really remember any 3d games with them. (Their are some but most of it, they handle the scenarios)

While, on the other hand, Team Gris Gris like epic said isnt exactly the corporate giant you supposed to be thinking off.. they just basically just started on the professional scene. Remember they were dojin group... they just recently take off and into the professional scene. Cuz CP got popular.

Cuz both specialize on sprite and scenario making. Its really their first time on 3D.

The gap between 2D and 3D is very far... there are many succesful companies who specializes in one thing. And sometimes, if they deviate a bit, their graphics could looks clunky and stuff...

And even failed.

So i do think that is being harsh on Gris2 who just started, heck aside from the cp they dont have much games.

Besides, Rarely, there are video game companies who started from Worst shit ever to Awesome games.

Actually I wonder how CP Dead Patient succeeded in do a good 3d game and Blood Drive didn't?
I know I may be a bit harsh, but if you compare Dead Patient with Blood Drive, even having just a simple chapter, there's way better, since they started with Dead Patient. I wonder just what happened in Blood Drive? It's like they didn't want to do Blood Drive.
Well, I must say I mentioned this game to my gamedesign professor and seriously he was even worse than me when I said about Blood Drive. He said like exactly like I said: If you have experience in 2d, do 2d. If you are still LEARNING 3d, use it for future games, and not in those that are being awaited for people. If is a game to sell, you have to think in consequences, and how will people see it.
My professor asked us to do a game till December in 2d and next year in 3d.
@nopinky At least they didn't fail with history because this is what made me love CP Blood Drive a lot.

P.S: Old Ayumi also said I'm being harsh hahahaha
P.P.S: If you are reading this, old Ayumi, stahp being harsh with drawings then :p

One word, Vita....

Because DP was made on a Familiar Format, it was created smoothly... i assume they did the same technique in Blood Drive which is in Vita btw. The difference in formats thus it wasnt exactly as its best.

And...oh blood drive aint the only game who had a problem with vita. Atelier Firis suffered the same problem as blood drive in some areas.. where it slowed down like crazy in some specific areas and Attack on titan suffered slowdowns as well

Both are made by Tecmo Koei, one major company who made dynasty warriors.. the founder of Musou games. High pace Action game.

Yeah, thats one of the problems of vita... Sony immediately gave up on supporting the PSV so it was truly affected especially ones like GrisGris.

Though i heard that Blood drive Mobile did fix many things so thats one way of seeing a light that theyre trying to fix their mistakes.

Must admit. Vita and it's damn problems.
Actually makes more sense. Because since they made with Unity it MUST be playable in cellphone, yet, I wonder, UNITY really was a good program to be used with Vita?

Cursed
I thought the story became really bad fanfiction towards the end. They really needed some playable chapters from the perspective of Martuba characters because they left some pretty big holes.

I got it on release and haven't actually finished yet... Was really excited to play the continuation of CP but this game somehow makes me not care about most people in the story or what will happen. I'm not sure they should've thrown in Sachi or even attempted to add in that backstory on why HH existed. Not to mention how naive Ayumi was through the entire first half of the game, going along with Misuto. Yeah, there'd be people who would do that but playing that person just made me angry.

You pretty much summed up what the majority of the fanbase feels.

As much as I loved and as many times I have replayed Blood Covered: RF and BoS, I couldn't even bring myself to finish Blood Drive.

And you know what? I will probably never finish it. It was that much of a let down for me. I looked up the remaining chapters on Youtube. Between the scattered story and the frustrating technical issues, I just couldn't finish it.

I don't know how I'm supposed to finish a game where I spend 70% of the f***ing game looking for bandaids and getting killed by cheap, petty spirits.

And the wrong endings were just a joke. In stead of being creepy/eerie/shocking, it was more LOL YOU DIED.

The fans deserved way better than this game and I really hope it somehow gets retconned/redone. It broke my heart to say f it and let it go.
