Nope, I don't actually. I use the site for finding more info on an anime or figuring out what fansub to go with, mostly. |

The horror.

I just recently started watching Corpse Princess. It seems okay, but I'm tired of them constantly saying Shikabane Hime and Shikabane. I'm assuming that they're japanese for corpse and corpse princess seeing as Shikabane Hime is underneath the title during the opening, but I don't know japanese and may be wrong. |

No, you are correct. Shikabane is written out as 屍 【しかばね】 meaning "corpse". Hime is written out as 姫 【ひめ】 meaning "princess". Edited by enigmaopoeia, June 19, 2012, 3:18 pm.

Is there any other way to say corpse? If not then this show is just silly with its wording. "A person who dies with great regret becomes a shikabane" Well of course. A person who dies completely happy becomes a corpse too. I guess they're just saying it like that in the dubbed version since they figure some people who watch are dumb. I'm on episode 11 and everything feels like it should have just been back story, and that the main character should have been someone than who it is. TBH I'm just waiting for a character to die, I won't say who for spoilers sake, so that the "real" story can get started. Everything that's happened so far just seems so inconsequential. |

The Void Walker

Yup, definetly independent, I just wish for subtitles. It looks like a comedy. The girl's(Fumiko's, I guess) clothes looked like Byakudan while the boy's Kisaragi. Poor Fumiko. Edited by Ist Kisaragi, September 18, 2012, 7:21 am.

| Whether by Windblast or by choke hold, whether by the steel of my Folding Blade or the swiftness of Blink, whether by Possession or by the power of thine Pistol, none shall evade either my Wrath, or my Mercy. For the Outsider gazes from his Void, the fate of all, are in the hands of those, marked by him. | |
