I wish there were Corpse Party x JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fanarts. I can just imagine Satoshi and Yoshiki posing like Joseph Joestar and Ceaser Zeppeli respectively. Spoiler: click to toggle

I dont know if this counts and as intentional reference but it seems that the crew of the live action movie is posing like Jotaro Kujo's pose... Slightly slanted pose with finger pointing ![]() ![]() |

Close enough is good enough for me. I love random JoJo references, always makes my day. Also I have Rohan from Diamond is Unbreakable as my phone's lock screen. Maybe this'll scare people off from looking through my device. Spoiler: click to toggle

Got bored and started playing around with some Photoshop Apps, and decided to mix Corpse Party with a dead JoJo Meme.

Its time for Uncle DKG's Occasional Drama Time... where i post something overdramatic thoughts that doesnt really make sense and can be solve by really mundane things. So lets get started... Our topic for today is love... On my workplace, i have this senior co-worker that i like...but aside from hitting on her with jokes and stuff... i dont really do much. Not asking her out nor at least try to eat with her during lunch. And obviously its blatant among work... but most people tell me... you're all talk with no action... maybe you just dont love her at all. Now for the million dollar question (which i dont really have) is... if that is not love, then does that mean i havent love a single person in my life? I mean... yeah, basically... i do good things because it does good to me and maybe to others as well. Love comes in many forms but do i know mine? |

As you say, Love comes in many forms, so I'm sure you've genuinely felt love for people before. Most people love their family or their friends for example (though obviously that sort of love doesn't tend to be romantic). As for the co-worker, determining your feelings is likely a bit trickier; one thing a lot of people can do is confuse love and lust (a lot of people can also mistakenly combine the two). There's nothing bad or wrong with feeling either, though in general, I feel like lust is what you feel when you're strongly attracted to someone in a romantic way without knowing exactly why, while love is a somewhat more subtle but longer-lasting feeling that doesn't go away easily, and only truly develops when you get to know a person better. I guess another way to put it is is that lust is often more just a strong attraction to the person, where you may get excited thinking about them and you may not know exactly why, while love is more a strong sense of caring, where you want them to be happy and may feel compelled to take actions toward that regardless of whether it benefits you or not. Likewise, with someone you love, you'd likely want to spend time with them because you genuinely enjoy their company and love who they are as a person, and not simply because they're physically attractive, or you happen to get all flustered and excited upon seeing them. The two can often go hand in hand to some extent and sometimes feel a bit alike, which is why it can often be confusing. What I'd say is that in general, I feel like you can't truly love someone unless you actually get to know them; I see love more as something that only comes once you have an established relationship with someone (be it a friendship or a romantic relationship). Lust on the other hand is just what gets you romantically interested in the first place. It can still be something you feel from time to time in an established relationship, but it can often lessen over time as well, which is why you sometimes see people who get in a relationship only due to those feelings of lust, but then those feelings of lust start to go away and they realize out they don't really love the person (since they one they had lust toward have been attractive, but they really may not have much in common), then they may want to move on to other relationships as a result. I guess long story short, I'd say don't worry too much what those co-workers are saying, and do what you feel is best. It sounds to me like you haven't really spent much time with that co-worker you're interested in and may not know her very well, so that means it'd be impossible for you to determine whether or not you love her currently. Considering that, I'd think more about whether you like what you know of her enough and have enough of an interest in her (either romantically, or simply as someone you might enjoy spending time with) that you think it'd be worthwhile to get to know her better. If you think it could be worth it, then I'd just try and find a chance to do so, even if it's something simple as like getting lunch like you said, since that'd still be an opportunity to talk and get to know her. I guess one other consideration is since it's a co-worker, you do want to be a bit more cautious before talking any bigger steps like a romantic confession or the like, since her being a co-worker means she's someone you'll likely need to continue dealing with due to your job, so having a relationship with her can carry certain risks, especially if she's someone that's your superior in the workplace. That said, it sounds like you still haven't gotten to know her or start a friendship, and I think there's no harm in doing that, as long as you're able to control yourself and take it slower. Just try and get to know her first, since that'll make it easier to truly know what you think of her, and figure out whether or not a relationship may be worth pursuing. Thanks for the wall of text ajo :3 (and no, im not being sarcastic about your text being long xD I actually appreciate it) I guess there is instances that i felt friend/family love... yeah... im just talking about how i love. Yeah im mostly talking bout romantic love. I mean most people do feel it... its the genre i watch it most in anime But im like "i dont feel anything in real life" I'll share a short dick-of-me story... i had a girlfriend once.. i met online... she was pretty naive and sweet... shes very loving too. We started going out on dates. There is nothing that is remotely bad with her. She was pretty loving herself. Yet on my side, i feel dates as a drag. I made excuses on how i cant go just because i dont want too. I even the one initiated the whole thing. Very dick of me right? Yeah i initiated the whole thing and aborted it like some sort of experimentation because it failed. I experimented to find what i felt before from my former high schoolmate... its just this one time date (if you can call it that) But now, i dont really care at all. All i want is just to play games and watch anime. I dont really care if i die alone. I just dont feel that kind of love anymore. Or maybe im just those one of the boys that stopped doing because they know they will fail Im sure its not the 2nd one because i didnt start at all lol The situation im in right now is kinda hard to avoid since most everyone talks that i should get a partner in life now. Youre 26, give your mother a grandchild. But i dont really feel that love and i dont want to force like i did with my 1st girlfriend... Im kinda seeing the solution but im too lazy to figure it out. (Very mundane things i say) Such a dick of me right? |
