That's just a stupid stereotype. People all over the world enjoy tea, including myself. I concur, it's one of the best drinks out there, when done properly. |

I personally disliked tea at first, but that was because it was not sweet when I tried it. I loved the taste as soon as I put some sugar in it (and changed the flavour, since the first one wasn't very good). I simply cannot drink it unsweetened now, at least a tiny bit. Try experimenting with different flavours (there's a huge variety out there, thus why you can't just say that "you don't like the taste of tea"; two different types of tea can taste completely different), maybe even add some milk or mix with biscuits. Granted, tea is not for everyone -- however, there's a chance you might actually find a type of tea you ought to enjoy.

As a southerner I say that sweet tea counts as long as it's not that passion berry garbage you get in fastfood places. Also, if you like sweet try chai. I love a good Chai Latte. |

In the past two years, I like to think I've consumed an obscene amount of tea. I'm really fond of a brand called Tazo. More specifically, their Awake blend. Tazo Awake with a little sugar is the best replacement for coffee in the morning. That being said, I've recently only been drinking it when I little a little pick me up, and have no coffee. But that is subject to change at any given time, because tea IS amazing. |

There are moments when I get depressed and I would love nothing more than death. Then I start thinking about death itself? What is death? What happens to what makes us... us? There is no real evidence outside of religious texts and mythologies for the existence of an afterlife. The thought of the total eradication of who we are on an emotional level and the loss of all of our personal experiences is just far too much for my mind to comprehend. It's not just the deletion of everything we've experienced, but the loss of our opportunity to express ourselves and expand our horizons. There is no more forward movement. Death is the only thing that we never truly experience because it is the end of all experiences. There is no way for us to consciously know what death feels like, if it feels like anything at all. Well, I think we can't experience death at all cause if you die... Your senses is dead... Pain is probably the nearest thing that we can feel when we are dying..but that doesn't necessarily mean that if we have pain we die...there are people who die peacefully without feeling any pain.. . Since we do not feel death, the only ones who feel that way are those who are living....in a sense .. We do not die... We just fade away .. Sorry if it doesnt make sense... Im kinda totally hazy cause i arrive home drunk and im pretending im not cause my mom would scold me. . sorry.. |

I agree/ponder on most of what you said, although I'm not so certain about it being "the end of all experiences." Of course, it's all conjecture, as nobody can really say. I think death, in itself, will somehow be an "experience" of sorts, even if we're not being swept forward through experience in "life" as it was. I just wanted to put my random two cents in because I thought what you said was really thought-provoking, Dubes. That (the experience bit) was the only part I didn't feel as certain about -- but in the end -- I'm not actually certain about any of it, as there's no way to know. There's only personal belief/faith of something better, something worse, or nothing at all. Depending on what you believe. In the end, I think it's to ease our minds because death is so utterly unknown. If there's one thing *most* humans fear...it's the unknown. Anyway, nice random thought there. Got me thinking~ Edited by Mayu Suzumoto, July 20, 2013, 10:36 am.
