I am now around 12 weeks into my pregnancy. Giving up alcohol and energy drinks? No problem. Cigarettes? Well, I'm down to around five a day and will work harder to be smoke-free before summer even gets here. But whenever my husband regales me with tales of eating tuna sashimi with truffle oil and how his company is sponsoring a trip to a water park with the biggest, most badass water slides in the state...I want to scream! Also, I really want a cat. Too bad I can't be near cat poop, right now. Oh, little jumping bean...the things I do for you. |

Yeah, diet restrictions are never fun. Sounds like you'll be a good mother though, since you're already looking out for your kid. |

Aw, HELL NO! Names are really hard to come up with. I already had something for a boy, but it turns out my husband didn't like the first name. In some ways, boys names are harder than girls if you want something other than Joshua, Jeremey, Jason, John and David. For damn sure, my son's not going to be Austin or Hunter, either. It's easier to give a girl a more unique name as long as you don't go too wild. I'm going to avoid names that were originally intended for boys. (Why that's a trend, I will never know.) Incidentally, in real life, I was nearly named after Stevie Nicks. (Mom's a HUGE fan!) My dad had other plans. He went to the office with paperwork for my name and put down the name of his favorite soap-opera character, instead. (He thought she was really pretty.) Mom wasn't happy, but at least I'm not "Stephanie". "Stevie", for short.

No, it's just that later in life, I would have insisted on being called Stephanie or by my middle name. (My mother won on the middle name). I would have hated being called Stevie. Speaking of odd names, I actually know a guy who is named Peck. It was his grandfather's nickname. Peck believes his dad was really stoned for thinking that would be just fine to name someone. He wants to kick his father's butt over it. Can't say I blame him. I can imagine the names he got called in school over it. My paternal grandmother gave one of my uncles the name "Junior" as a middle name. She thought it really was someone's name. |

Speaking of names my father wanted to name me Jules Jerome..... Needless to say I'm glad that didn't happen.... I'd have to go by JJ if that were the case, or just Jay. No way in hell I'd want to be known as Jules |

Try being named Edward Hagen, but no one ever calls u by ur first name except people reading ur file or cops. Then add the fact no one can pronounce it. I've bern called everything from Hagaan Daas to Meagan. |

I was speaking the other day about this, but my last name is Cajun. So people get it wrong all the time too. It's not that difficult of a name either. |
