This is an odd question but has anyone ever had a moment where your friends and family have no idea what you're talking about when mentioning a game, but they know exactly who you're talking about when mentioning a character from said game? (My case is with the CoPa series, and the character is well... Yours truly) |

I know exactly what you mean, same thing happened with me when I talked about Red Alert 2, everybody was like "what the fuck is that, a snack?" On their minds, and when I mentioned "premier Romanov" the next instant my dad started to mention other characters from RA2, I was sooo pissed off by that, not because he knew, but because he played dumb, I mean, how do you know Zofia, Boris, Douglas, Eva, but you don't know the actual f**king game? Worse is that, he don't know the gameplay at all, I put him to try a campaign, looses like a noob a "Hail to the Chief" (third Allied mission, basic stuff....) but he's the one to give me advices what to do when I was playing, in skirmish, Hard AI, 1vs7, I just, I just wanted to say "Mind your f**king bussines, for the love of god!" (I don't understand anymore.....) (Funny thing, my mother and a friend of hers knows really damn well Dune 2000, she beat the actual game and also, she knows about the game because she read the book, the one that I'm searching for so long, it is "Dune" and it was written by Frank Herbert, me have an awesome mom! :3) |
