Random thoughts of late:

1. Why is it that I prefer people on this site, people who I'll probably never see or meet, to my entire class (except for two people). They're relationships with me range from merely neutral to absolute hatred (I'm talking about you, Toby f***ing Gilham). Is that weird?
It actually seems pretty logical to me.

Basically, the people in your class are people you only associate with due to circumstance (going to the same school, which tends to be mainly due to where you live), while this board is a place you go to do to out of choice due to some interests you hold (being a fan of Corpse Party). Since we all like Corpse Party, it follows that many of us would share certain other interests, such as video games, and stories with the themes found in corpse party (horror, plot-heavy stories with a strong character focus, etc). What we like has some degree of relation to our personalities as well, so it makes sense that people with many similar interests are more likely (though not guaranteed) to mesh well with your own personality. Unless you go to a school in which it has something to do with your belief, such as a private school or certain colleges, there really isn't anything in particular tying you and your schoolmates together other than the fact that you're there to get a general education (and that may not even be due to your own choosing), so finding people with compatible personalities or similar interests is much more due to chance in that sort of situation. It can happen, though unless you get VERY lucky or other factors come into play (like say, doing sports joining a club), it's unlikely that it would happen with more than a couple people. Honestly though, I'd say even finding one person who you share a significant connection with in such an environment is pretty lucky, since there are also things like the division of classes, frequent schoolwork and people's shyness which can get in the way of meeting similar-minded people. That's also why I think many more people end up making long lasting friends in college, since in College you're more likely to be taking classes relating to your interests.

4. Why is it that I love the idea of love-suicide? I have a very Romeo-esqe view on love in media where I love couples devoted to each other. I see dying for/with/to be with your girlfriend to be an ultimate confession of love and devotion to each other. This is probably the 2nd biggest reason I love Morishige so much; as soon as he found out who he had been staring at that whole time, he took punishment on himself and/or decided to be with her. Again, is this just me?

Because dying for your love is easy. It's living with your love--and putting up with their habits of telling you the same stories more than twice, farting in their sleep and never putting up ingredients they've used after cooking (not even throwing away eggshells--EGGSHELLS!) and the fact that being married isn't the same as being blind or dead inside--that's hard.

One day, you'll grow out of thinking that notion is beautiful and you'll prefer living for yourself and the ones who truly love you. Trust me.
Mazel's current mood is:

You never can win
it's the state I'm in
This danger thrills and my conflict kills
They say follow your heart
follow it through
But how can you
when you're split in two?

Aaahhhh, don't you love being showered upon by glorious, glorious logic? Thanks for the brilliant explanation, Ajo.

Thank you so much. You took my pretentious teenage self and gave it a good kick to the nuts. I mean, yes, I like to be seen as the dark, intellectual of the room I go in, but that doesn't mean I should pretend to be sad and all that crap, that's just terrible. I hate emos because I think they are just attention seekers, yet for the last few days I've been doing just that. I have been feeling my pretentiousness rising these last few days, but only after your comment have I realised what is was. For anyone who still doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about, I'm 13 and like to act like I'm a whole lot older than I am. While I do consider myself mature, I am still a very young teen and it can show when I talk about darker stuff like suicide. Try to ignore it or just put me in my place. Everyone says that the teenage years are terrible, and from what I've seen of myself, it's true. I'm going to hate them. Mazel, I realise that you had no idea your comment would affect this much, but seriously, thank you for it so much, as if it wasn't for it, I would still be moping around acting like "oh, I'm oh so depressed. I'm abnormal" when I'm just -as one song put it- a teenage dirtbag.

Morishige.

By the way, my random thought is a way all females can escape HHE:have a crush on Satoshi Mochida. If you're a male, simply have a crush on a person that has a crush on Mochida. Sadly, a female having a crush on a female that has a crush on Mochida doesn't work, so sorry Seiko.

My random thought of the day:

So I'm looking at urban legends for some inspiration and I realized that I'm not scared of stories. I'm only terrified in video games when I am rendered helpless. (Like in Clock Tower and Amnesia where you have to run and hide.) Horrific imagery doesn't scare me, so things like monsters? don't bother me at all. A lot of things that are traditionally scary to people are not so scary to me. I've pretty much desensitized myself.

Women be crazy, yo.

For my own random thought: Don't you hate it that when you get yourself into a video game, there's practically no fandom that you can join?

Happened to me too many times... then again, I need to stop liking obscure games. Haha! orz
Happened to me once.

The horror.
The other day I was just trying to think of what the worst joke I could think of was this is what I came up with. Be warned this is a very low brow joke, and should not be read aloud to co-workers or children... unless they're cool.

You've been warned already. Don't read this if you don't want to hate yourself for laughing. Unless you don't laugh. In that case I'm sorry for wasting your time with a stupid joke. How about this long message just to give a spoiler warning a title huh? I don't even know if you'll be able to see all this in the final post, but I'm typing it anyway because why not? I mean YOLO right? God, I hate that I said that, but not as much as you'll hate yourself if you laugh at this joke.

I don't get it?

anyways, when you have already seen too much gore, you'll see yourself watching a woman being mutilated in a new movie without batting an eye..and like you'll point out weird things like "what? youre still alive after losing a gallon of blood"

and what's up with ancient demons spewing modern swear words continously like they're some guys from a gang or something, it makes me laugh than being scared

heck, the only things that scares me now are jumpscares

just watch the evil dead remake.. nice movie haha

My husband and were eating crawfish at our favorite Cajun restaurant when this thought popped in my mind:

The accordian is to the world of musical instruments as the bumblebee is to flight. With the way bumblebees are built, they shouldn't be able to fly, but can anyway. The accordian shouldn't be cool or make awesome music, but somehow it does anyway.
