Yoshiki's voice is already very similar to Johnny's, so I figured it was a good match. Wendee Lee is a woman of many, many talents, though, but yeah, Laura Bailey would be better for Naomi. Yeah, Michelle Ruff would also be a good Ayumi. Either she or Colleen Clinkenbeard would work for me.

I'm just going to say this now; I am really, really glad that there isn't a dub for Corpse Party. I don't like any English voice actors.... And coincidentally, most of my favorite seiyuu's do voices in Corpse Party, so that's pretty cool (my favorite is Hiro Shimono, but I also like Yuichi Nakamura and Rina Satou a lot, all of the Japanese voices are so amazing in Corpse Party) All of those really incredible scenes I feel would just... Not be as good. As far as possible voice actors for a dub, I think that Todd Haberkorn- Satoshi Travis Willingham- Yoshiki Laura Bailey- Naomi Monica Rial- Seiko Those are some possibilities I thought of, though I don't know how accurate that list would be. Since I stopped watching anime in English, I don't remember the voice actors that well anymore. |

Say what? Are you referring to just anime English dub voice actors, or all English-speaking voice actors? Edited by WeirdRaptor, March 16, 2014, 1:40 am.

I'm kinda on the same side as Ms Nakashima. I'm glad there isn't an English dubbed version sold primarily for North America and Europe. To me, English voice acting drowns out the emotion and strength that Japanese voice actor carry. I had to switch Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward from English to Japanese because the voice acting was "distracting". (to me, at least). I have no problem with English voice actors for anime, however. I don't know any potential English actors, sadly. I'm just throwing in my two cents. |

Excuse me. I was mostly referring to English dub voice actors, as I don't watch shows in English very often, and don't pay nearly as much, if any, attention to voice actors (and actors in general) that aren't in anime or video games. I hope that the wording there wasn't too terrible. Edited by enigmaopoeia, April 7, 2014, 1:56 am.

Well....Funimation has some great voices. And I think youtubers would be great to do voices as well. Also, I'm assuming that some MLP voice actors would go well with it. Note: I'm going off of character names that Funimation had dubbed, so I'm saying that character's voice actor. Also, for youtubers I'm going off of how they really act versus how said character acts. Satoshi - Pewdiepie Morishige - Death The Kid/Allen Walker Yoshiki - YuriOfWind (Cause they fit so well together) Yuka/Sachiko - Elizabeth (Black Butler) Ayumi - Maka Albarn Yuki/Tokiko/Ryou - Cutie Mark Crusaders Naomi - Twilight Sparkle Seiko - Patty (Soul Eater) ............That's all I can think of right now. |

Corpse Party should probably not have an english dub. While their is a chance that they could get good voice actors, we are already used to the japanese, that some would probably agree the sub is better based purely on that. Not to mention it would be compaired to the sub constantly that people would hate on it because it's "not the same". Although personaly I think a dub would be good, it would probably be best if it remained just japanese. |
