Congrats, DKG-Sensei! May you have many great years as a teacher and not end up like Ms. Yui, may heaven rest her soul eventually lol I actually have something of my own to be all happy about. 1. I have a decent headset now I ordered online, which is yay. 2. I was offered a promotion at my current job, a BIG promotion. Starting post-holiday season, I'll be an official department manager at my store. The position itself isn't big, but the paycheck is huge. I can actually make a living off of it if I chose to, and anyone who knows me well enough will tell you one of my fears was not being able to provide a living for myself and those I love, but now I no longer have to worry about that! While it's not my current goal in life, I'm certainly grateful for being able to have the means to live until I can make my own career dreams come true. |
