Ack, I did not see the pictures of mazel's crib and that is just the cutest! *A* I love the color scheme and also that pillow is too cute.

What's the place called? I figure it's probably just a store with a single location rather than a chain, though I'm still curious.
The store itself is called 2nd & Charles. They have six stores thus far in mostly the Southeast region of the US.

So, I spent most of the evening and the night redecorating. I had two tables and a lot of corner space that I wasn't really taking full advantage of. After doing some rethinking I went and did this:

Macintosh to the left, PC to the right, 100 pens and a Pac-Man coffee cup in the middle.

I'm very pleased with the results! Now with this new setup I can easily access my instruments for composing work and use the extra desk space for studying, drawing or plotting down new concepts and designs without leaving the computer. Also, my flat is way spacier now. Win-win!

Edit: Here's another angle:

Posted Image
My bass- and electric guitar to the left. Shelves are stuffed full with non-fiction, boxes of drawings and a pair of old test PCs.

Congrats, inga! Good luck raising your child! (I can somewhat relate since I have a 1,5 year old sister).
Good job, Eagle with the redecorating! (I'm guessing your somewhat of a multitasker?)

As for me, got plenty of games on my PSP memory stick, and planning to FINALLY beat Patapon 3, and also to clean out my game folder(which is about 50GB full).
Whether by Windblast or by choke hold, whether by the steel of my Folding Blade or the swiftness of Blink, whether by Possession or by the power of thine Pistol, none shall evade either my Wrath, or my Mercy. For the Outsider gazes from his Void, the fate of all, are in the hands of those, marked by him.

That's a pretty big yey right there; Congratulations on the baby!

How's the experience of being a new mother been for you so far?

It's tiring as hell and stressful, too. My body's getting rid of extra hormones so I'm extra-prone to crying jags. Everyone's assuring me that I'm doing just fine with the baby. (Surely, nobody would say that just to be nice, right?)

But then I get to hold him while he's all nice and warm and smelling like baby. I like that part. I like it alot. :)

I'm getting a new computer tomorrow. :D

3.4GHz Intel Core I7-2600 processor
8GB DDR3 RAM
1.5TB hard drive
2GB dedicated graphics card (DVI, HDMI, VGA ports) - actual card not listed on the info card the store had unfortunately, but I know its either a Nvidia or ATI. Can't check the site since it was on clearance and is no longer listed
Blu-Ray writer
27 inch monitor which has HDMI, DVI, speakers, 4 USB 2.0 ports - No more SDTV for my 360 gaming :D

Paying NZ$2700, down from NZ$4400.

Now I only need to find a use for my 10 year old PC which is dying anyway.

The horror.
Nice.

If you haven't played it on 360 already I suggest playing the Witcher 2. It's a great game on PC.
