I've been debating whether to post this here or on the Venting topic for the past 10 minutes or so. However, I've decided to do it here given that the consequences of what happened two days ago have turned out to be… rather positive now.

My girlfriend broke up with me two days ago. Emotionally devastated, heartbroken, in terrible pain... these words are rather accurate when it comes to describing how I felt yesterday. This morning, though, everything had changed. I felt no pain anymore, which is something that I personally consider as being "good" (leaving aside the fact that my "emotional wounds" have healed incredibly fast... which actually makes me wonder whether I really did love her to start with).
However, I felt that from now on, my life had to change. I want to live a happy life, the one I always wanted, and in order to achieve that, a lot of things definitely had to change.

Due to certain circumstances, my environment has regrettably become something pretty toxic― including friends, family and acquaintances. Hence why I, today, decided that moving in with my old Japanese host family is for the best. So, goodbye Spain, Japan here I come (again). Only a week or so, and I'm out of here and certainly not ever going to come back.

Hopefully, I'll be able to find a job ―preferably one that's not too demanding― and that will be a chance to improve my knowledge of the Japanese language.

And that's pretty much it. My entire life has changed in just two days.
Can't say I'm much happier right now, but I still do have hope that, in the long run, this will be a positive change.
