This is just a silly topic when I was thinking about how ATLUS back in the days when they initially Americanize the characters in Revelations Series: Persona. Not only did they gave them American names, but they also went as far as changing their hair color, eye color, and skin color to give them a more typical American appeal. Now, let's say that if the Corpse Party series have to be Americanized, what do you think they would name the characters? Do you think any aspect of them will change, such as their appearances? Let's just have fun here. To start things off, I'll go with the main five cast. If they have to have American names, I didn't put much effort into these names, so please don't take them seriously:

I misread Alyssa as Allesa....which is a major character in silent hill...XD Well, It kinda fits Sachiko as both girls Spoiler: click to toggle Well, that wouldn't look good as they have almost the same name right? ....XD How bout Scarlet Morgan...Girl in red lol

Here are three I've come up with (Also note that I looked up the Japanese name meanings using a baby name database, so I'm aware the info might be bunk): Masato Fukoroi=Micheal Fitzroy According to the site I used, Masato means "holy man" or "true man". Micheal is Hebrew for "Who is like God?". The surname Fitzroy sounds similar enough to Fukoroi. Sakutaro Morishige=Algernon Dagwood This name sounds pretty dumb, doesn't it? That's actually the point. In BoS, we find out the reason Morishige doesn't like his given name very much is because the name is so antiquated, hardly anyone names their kids that anymore. In the US, "Algernon" would be the equivalent to this. "Theophile" or "Pointdexter" would work just as well. I went with "Dagwood" for the surname since "Mori" means "forest". Yuuya Kizami=Alex Slade Kizami's name should sound cool, sexy and a bit heroic at the same time. This was the best I could do. Since Kizami means "carve", I did a little word play. Slade rhymes with "blade". Edited by Mazel, May 8, 2013, 1:55 am.

The horror.

Slade is cool because it's also Deathstroke's name in DC comics. So that name is cemented with a bad ass appeal to me regardless of it rhyming with blade. Sachiko Shinozaki=Melissa Morgan You keep the first letters being the same in English if you go along with the whole Morgan thing instead of Shinozaki. Plus it kinda sounds like Alyssa. So it might make it a little easier for people to make the connection that they're related. |

"Don't die! Don't die, dammit!" "All right, all right already! Just stop crying, Shinozaki. I want to see you smile. I love your smiling face most of all." | |
