Ah, so I felt like a random question was needed, although I'm also curious about it as well. Anyways I was wondering if there are any smells (possibly odd) that any of you really enjoy. For me, it's books, or more preferably old books. Something about the smell of aged pages makes me happy and I always have to smell them nyeh

I don't know what does it, but water coming from a garden hose has had a very distinct smell to me growing up. I drank from hoses quite a lot on hot days outside with my friends in the trailer park when I was a kid. And every trailer had a spigot, usually with a hose attached, so there was always a place to drink at. I've also noted that some electronics, usually cheap Chinese knockoffs, have more or less the EXACT same smell. My NES clone is a great example. Edited by Rashira Asavara, December 29, 2013, 6:59 pm.

Just barely sweet, and simply perfect. The scent of tap water is one of my favorites as well. In a way, it seems clean. Rusted metal pretty much tops this list, though. Sometimes I worry that liking the smell might be a little dangerous, but I'm still (hopefully) alive.

This one, I think you guys are gonna think I'm a bit girly for, (male) but I love the smell of roses. I don't know why but it just reminds me of February. On a side note, trust me, you get sick of the smell of rust after two years. Side note again. This thread needs more post, anyone, please?
