Long Time No See "Bertram, you should get some sleep." I said to my butler as I saw him wiping down the kitchen counters. "But the kitchen must be clean Ms.(Y/N)." He stated. "I can do it. I'm not hopeless." I smiled as I intertwined my arm with his. "Now, let's get you to your room and into your comfortable bed." I said as I lead him upstairs. He rested his hand on mine and gave it a few light pats. "You're to kind to me (Y/N)." "It's all out of love Bertram and you know that." I opened his bedroom door. "Now, into bed you go." "What about Jax?" "I put Jax to bed an hour ago. Stop worrying so much and sleep." I closed his door to leave him to undress and get underneath his covers. I only met Bertram about a year ago when he became my butler but he is such an amazing man and was a huge father figure to me, being that I grew up without one. Before walking back downstairs I peeked in on the small, 4 year old, boy that slept in my bed. Once I brought the door back to a crack I heard a knock coming from downstairs. I crept my long, body hugging, silky, rose pink night gown up my legs a little as I walked down the steps to unlock the door. "Oh my gosh." Were the only words that could escape from my mouth as I took in a good view of the two tall men that stood at my door. "Hi (Y/N)." The taller one began to speak. "I don't know if you remember us but it's..." "Sam and Dean Winchester." Tears filled my eyes. "Not to long ago I was looking at a portrait of us three. Come on in." I stepped to the side opening the big wooden door even more. "It is so great to see the both of you." I stated as I lead them to the kitchen. "It's a little chilly outside so how about I warm up some Apple Cider." "Sounds great." Dean smiled. "Just one question. Do you have pie?" I reached into my fridge to pull out the large container of Apple Cider and a homemade Apple Pie. "Eat as much as you want." They both sat at the island counter as I pulled out a knife, plates and forks. "So what brings you guys here?" I poured Apple Cider into a tea kettle. "We were uh.. finishing up some business and decided to stop by the town hall and saw your picture hanging." "And you recognized me?" I recalled my younger years where I was a little more... let's just say I wasn't as cute as I am now. "Not exactly." Dean said truthfully. "You're a lot hotter now than you were back then." A color of pink rushed across my cheeks. "But, we did recognize the name and started to see the similarities." Dean currently had a mouth full of pie. "So we got word of mouth that you lived here and decided pay you a visit after all of these years." Sam said over the whistling tea kettle. I rose up from my seat and proceeded to pour three mugs of Apple Cider. "It has been since 7th grade right?" Dean nodded his head as he took another slice of pie. "The last day we saw you Sam kissed you." "What!" Sam exclaimed. "No I didn't. Dean, that is a lie." A Cheshire grin crept over my face. "Oh yes you did." I handed them each a mug then set the tea kettle in the sink. "You told me you loved me then kissed me and ran away." I saw the blush and the realization sweep over his face. "Okay, okay maybe I did but I was young and I didn't know what love was." "(Y/N)?" I heard the small voice coming from the entrance of the kitchen. "Hey Jax." I walked over to his and squared down to his level. "What are you doing up buddy?" "I can't sleep." He poured as he rubbed his eyes. "Another cat?" I asked as I picked him up remembering the night a cat sneaked into the house through an open window. They also sometimes like to just sit outside and purr and meow looking for field mice to eat. He shook his head. "What is it?" I was curious to see what was going on. Jax was never like this. He wasn't afraid to sleep by himself and even though I always left my table lamp on for him he wasn't afraid of the dark. "The closet." He whispered in my ear. I sat him back down. "Okay Jax you stay here with these two men while I go check it out okay." He nodded his head and walked over to Sam and Dean where Dean picked him up and say him on his lap. I walked up the stairs and into my room where I saw the lamp turned off. I walked over to the small round lamp and pulled the switch but nothing. I made my way to flip on my larger light but still nothing. "Crap." I mumbled to myself. Standing in front of my closet I slid the door open using just the moonlight to see. I felt a cold gust of wind brush against my body. I looked at my window and saw it was closed and as soon as I turned back I saw a large black figure coming out from the closet. "Hello (Y/N)." The familiar voice sounded. "Oh my gosh." I slowly back away as he came closer to me. It wasn't the same person. It couldn't have been the same person. His eyes were engulfed in black. I felt something press me down to the floor and I saw glistening water begin to splash and words of gibberish being spoken. Black smoke rose towards the ceiling and disappeared and a loud thud hit the floor bring.me.back to earth. "Wha...what happened?" I noticed Sam lying on top of me. "You were almost stabbed by a demon." He helped me up and I saw the large metal blade in the man's hand. "What would a demon want with you?" Dean flipped on my room light which magically began working again. "Oh no." I finally saw the face of the man who was in the closet. "(Y/N) are you okay?" I heard Jax voice come from behind Dean. "No Jax!" I almost screamed trying to shield his eyes. "Daddy?" He looked at the breathless body on the floor. "Jax... I'm so sorry." Jax was a single child who lost his mother at birth and only ever had his Father and I. I wrapped my arms around him as he buried his head into my body. "Here I'll take him and call the police." Dean picked him up and took him back downstairs leaving only Sam and I. "Come on let's get out of here." He lead me to the hallway where I just slid down the wall and he knelt down in front of me. "Was that your husband?" I shook my head. "I never married. He was Jax's father." "So Jax isn't yours?" "No. He's like a son to me though. I play a motherly role for him." My head hung down low. "I'm so sorry." His index finger found way underneath my chin. "Hey it's okay." He lifted my face to his. "You and Jax are okay and that's all that matters." A few tears slipped down my face followed by Sam whipping them away. "I'm here for you okay." I buried my head in the crook of his neck and he hugged me tightly as I felt his lips kiss my hair. I didn't think our first time meeting again will begin how our last time ended. ------------------- I hope you guys liked it.
