It really needs to be asked: where does Jose get his incredible super-insider information? http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1681671/chelsea-jose-mourinho-manchester-united-not-happy-plight?cc=5901 |

Considering the great relationship Jose has with manure why doesn't he broker the simple solution that both clubs crave? That would be a swap of Mata for Rooney. Both clubs really need the other player, so much so that it's obvious. Both players want out. I'm sure Rooney doesn't want to be around to witness RVP picking the team at Old Trafford (coming soon). |

you are aware that Jose is open to the idea of Mata leaving, but Moyes wants to keep Rooney by all means right? you do realise Moyes is the one that has to 'broker the simple solution'? |

United need more players than they're going to get during this transfer period, but the focus is so much on Moyes and his failings that insufficient blame has been attributed to the extended injuries of his two best players - Rooney and RvP. With them both in the lineup, United are 5 wins, 2 draws and 0 losses. Hard to see them bettering that by switching Rooney out for Mata. Of course, these days if a player wants badly enough to go, he goes, but Moyes must do everything he can to keep Rooney. |

Rooney has become a cancer. Fergie was clearly done with him, and wanted him out. Moyes should've swapped Rooney for Mata. |

If Ferguson wanted him out, he'd already be gone. SAF never had a problem unloading a troublesome star. And if he is indeed a cancer, United's record with him in the lineup (both last year and this) argues that they're coping pretty well with the symptoms. |
