If you ask any informed and reasonable neutral--someone without a trolling agenda--which manager truly cares the most about football as a whole, about fairness, about the future of the sport and not just his own glory, everyone goddamn well knows the answer will be Arsene Wenger.
This could be the most Wengerite statement EVER.

Wenger asked about Mourinho's comments in post-game presser. His response? "I speak about facts and ideas, never about people."

Class.
Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people. - Eleanor Roosevelt
One of my favorite posts of the year. I love when a great quote is applied to current hot topic. Much respect dsch
The ability to quote is a serviceable substitute for wit. - W. Somerset Maugham
At the risk of starting a mutual admiration society, you should post more around here. The group could use a little more of your sense of humor and relative calm.

I was going to comment on the exchange about quotations. But I'll go with this one on the basis of accuracy.

And by extension, so was the OP.

And THAT could be the worst English grammar ever!

On a serious note though, can anyone find a link to the study that was done that Wenger mentions here: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jan/27/arsene-wenger-jose-mourinho-arsenal-fixtures

I'm sure we had a link to it before. From memory it showed that United had games moved to Sundays after playing Wednesdays in the UCL. It happened 6 times for United, 2 for Chelsea and 1 for us in the 2011-2 season. Again I'm sure the link was couched in the culture of denial that PizBog inculcate.

Not to be outdone, a Chelsea blogger's take:

http://espnfc.com/blog/_/name/chelsea/id/2377?cc=5901

Great article!
This was my favourite part

"Rather than castigate Chelsea, Wenger should actually be applauding them instead. After his perennial complaints about the Blues’ spendthrift approach to the transfer market, and his accusations of “financial doping”, he should be thrilled that his London rivals are striving to balance the books by selling players for a profit. To be fair to the Gunners boss he has since grudgingly pointed to the fact that Chelsea’s recent transfer activity hints that they are seeking compliance with the Financial Fair Play rules but if that is truly what he thinks then why voice any objections in the first place?

Rather than trying to appear to protect the integrity of the game and martyr himself in the process, perhaps Wenger is simply showing the strain of the title race. Perhaps he is concerned that, despite his team enjoying a renaissance at the top of the table, he still has City and Chelsea on his tail. Perhaps his nerve is starting to betray him."

Cringe.

A chelsea fan writes a completely biased article bashing chelsea's rival managers and saying they're "scared of mourinho" and our resident spurs fan eats it up like it's delicious piers morgan vomit.
