In eleven days in February we play Liverpool twice, Bayern twice and manure once.
Don't tell Jose that. He might have to retract his statement about our "easy" schedule.

This draw must be fixed
I was going to stamp on you with some irony. But it upsets Jays. So let me just carry on here to tell you that you are a knob end.
I'm missing the point here. I don't think the draw is fixed so why would I be upset?

I don't understand why they don't do seeding in the FA cup, if they want it to be truly 'glamorous'
I think they want every club to have a chance - at least an outside one - to progress each round. That, and tradition.

Seeding it would just make it another premier league showcase. It gets close to being that in the later rounds anyway, but in the meantime I enjoy seeing earlier round matchups like Arsenal/Liverpool and Man City/Chelsea.

I'm with you dsch. I like it the way it is. No seeding and just a free for all as to who plays who next. It does suck when you get a bunch of EPL teams round after round while another top club can get minnows but that's just down to luck. Some years you get it and some you don't.

I haven't studied Chelsea's schedule up to his claim. But if he's saying we didn't have fixture pile ups coming at awkward times then he's bullshitting. I wouldn't have waited until this to argue the toss.

IMO this is the period the wheels will fall off for Arsenal. In between 8th feb-15th march Arsenal play Liverpool away twice, Bayern Munich twice, Utd & Spurs.

I say this based on history & how I perceive the lack of mental toughness in the Arsenal team & in Wenger. Take it as you will

If you get through this period well then I will start to consider Arsenal serious title contenders & not just pace setters behind whom the real contenders sit

And you can stamp on dream with a two-ton bag of irony for all I care. Your "me against the world" mentality must be running rampant today to even mention my name at all in that initial reply.

I'll be crossing my fingers that it doesn't happen. February has been an Achilles heel for us in past seasons. The fact that we look like we cruise through parts of many matches instead of going 90 miles per hour all the time may help us to avoid going off the rails this time.

LOL I love the horse racing theme here from my Aussie buddy. I think Arsenal still has a lot of horse this year left and we just passed the top of the straight and will shake off the other horses in the last 100 meter. I'm still waiting that Van Persie horse come from way off the pace to nick as at the wire. LOL.
