I don't know how much they lost by being relegated from Serie A. I'm sure they had to lose a good amount of money although they ended up paying no fines for the whole thing. I also don't know if they get balloon payments like they get in the EPL when they drop down either.
This relegation was unlike any other before it. This was a large, financially sound club that was sent down over match fixing instead of poor results. It wasn't much of a surprise to see them bounce back so easily to get right back into the CL after one season.
Jays I'm not also sure of how much they lost when they got relegated but I'm sure it's at least twice of what Arsenal would lose if we finish outside the top 4. I'm not quite sure you understand what it means to play in the 2nd tier of Italian football league or any other European league for that matter. According to that money league table, they lost just over 100 mil in revenue from being relegated. Went from 251 million to 145 million.

you get just 20mil for participating in the UCL right? According to the money league thing, they lost alot of TV revenue which counts for an exorbitant amount of their overall revenue. Much more than what EPL teams were getting back then. Put it his way, they still got more TV money that season than any EPL team while playing in Serie B! Match day revenue dropped (19,000 average attendance that season) too. No money from being in the CL either.
