Four players for 2 spots is enough. Rosicky and Ox can play as no.8s if needed. Wilshere and Ramsey have partnered together to good effect. Our midfield didn't collapse, we're not suddenly poor in that department. I don't get these knee-jerk reactions. Arteta as you know just came back from injury, he was struggling all game. Flamini and Wilshere would have put together a much better performance and we'd most likely have won the game. Arteta will get better and his partnership with Flamini isn't all bad. No one complained about it when we blew Napoli out of the water. It lacks forward thrust from the middle but really not as bad as people make it out to be. |

Sounded like Wilshere would be back for Sunday. And Wenger only said Ramsey was definitly out for the weekend, and "hopefully not too long" after. Does that mean 4-6 weeks? I think Veysey is just guessing there. From Wenger's words it seems he could even be back in contention in a week. |

We need Wilshere back no matter what happens. I'm not sold on Flamini and Arteta being individually shit overnight, but together seems like overkill. Unless two midfielders constantly show for the ball we get shoved back like in the early and late parts of that game. With Flamini we have a player who isn't that comfortable when he has to press up and keep possession ticking over. |

Wenger says Ramsey's injury is "a matter of some weeks" so it doesn't sound like the rumors were off base: http://news.arseblog.com/2014/01/boss-confirms-ramseys-absence-will-be-weeks/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook |

This not good! Ramsey is one of our most important players so we will clearly miss him. However, Rosicky and/or Wilshire are capable of replacing him effectively so I hope at least one of them is available for Sunday. |

We are now reliant on jack Wilshere to play at his very best for the next few weeks. |

Health permitting, I believe he's got it in him and will relish the challenge. |

He has to be back to full steam. The team needs that drive in midfield. |

I wonder if we're ever going to get an extended run where he and Ramsey can play together. An exaggeration born of frustration, but it seems like it's been one or the other only for years now. |

Ramsey apparently just posted his first "modeling photos" on instagram. Just lost some points on my manly scale. |
