Fun read of the morning.

Remember: Jose never parks the bus. And Jose doesn't whine.

That was funny, especially when you consider that Mourhino has used the same methods effectively in the past on several occasions.

A bit of hypocrisy by Jose there no doubt, but only a moron would equate what West ham did to what Jose does, west ham didn't just pack the bus they parked a train!. I think it was even you who posted the game's heat map, west ham had only one shot all game, Chelsea had close to 40. Normally teams try to pack the bus and then try to break on the counter-attack, West ham had no interest in counter attack in that game.

It will be interesting to see how Chelsea approach the game at City. They won't follow Big Sam's script to the letter but I'll bet they borrow several pages of it.

Mourinho's beginning to look a caricature of himself.

Phato, I know you hate City but some of your comments are ridiculous.
If his statements are "ridiculous." quote some of them and tear them apart. Otherwise, you're the one that appears "ridiculous."
Example 1) "there's nothing special about city" that quote was after the 6-3 win over Arsenal.
Let me know if you want no 2.
Hey momo, I was asking yer pal to flex his knowledge muscles when he decides to call someone ridiculous. You generally submit something to back up your statements, though just as often as not, what you submit is "ridiculous."
How about the fact that my statement was aimed at Phato and not at you.
Momo number two. It's a public forum. If you want to have private communication, I would suggest email or the US Postal Service.
so why then do you have a problem with me submitting some evidence on a public forum.

I pointed out that Jose too do employ similar tactics but it's nothing like what West Ham did, they neither had any attacking nor counter-attacking plan for that game. I need to actually watch the highlights and see the only 'shot' west ham had for 90 mins.

Not much of a train if it has that many holes in it. Shouldn't Mourinho's real moan be at his own shooters? That many tries and they can't squeeze at least one in?!

AND I think they will get a result, which, given a positive Sunday outcome, will put Arsenal back on top, making current Soccernet headlines ("We've seen the last of Arsenal on top") part of the comedy being offered.

Saw that headline too and didn't bother with the article or video. Sounded like one they've had in the drawer most of the season, just waiting for the chance to run with it.

to be honest I only saw the last 10 mins of that game, so I really need to watch the highlights to see the other chances Chelsea created but from the little I saw, I can't remember the last time I saw that kind of bus or train parked by west ham yesterday.
Mourinho did acknowledge though that West ham need points and maybe what they did is acceptable. And I've also acknowledged that there's a bit of hyposcrisy there by Jose.
