What Wenger did is he threw the media a bone after the last game that something was imminent and suddenly all the deals we were previously linked with are back on. How much of these stories are true is anybody guess. The Drakler thing is one I want to believe simply because I like the player but who knows anymore? |

I think the Julian Draxler deal is more likely with both clubs agreed provisionally on a fees of 36 million sterling pound. In addition, with a number of Germans already on board at the Emirates and also with Lehman advising Draxler to join Arsenal, I think he will be destined to join the Gunners sooner rather than later. Let's wait for Wenger to announce another surprise to all fellow Gooners tomorrow....let us pray the deal will go through eventually.....

Fully agree. Having watched him in the CL last season, he is an exceptional talent and I hope we get him. The kid obviously want to come since neither he nor his agent have distance themselves from the persistent rumours. However I am not very confident that Wenger is willing to pay the asking price for him. I would. We have missed out on similar talents such as Hazard recently and I hope we don't do so yet again. Rgarding Vucinic, I don't really know much about him so don't really care one way or another. However, we need an upgrade for Giroud by the end of tomorrow or we win nothing once more this year! |

With the Draxler deal off for now and with Theo out for the rest of the season I'm sure Wenger will try for someone. I can't say whether it would be Vucinic. |

There have also been rumors of Cristian Tello from Barcelona. |

Wenger said that in the last week of the transfer market the possibility of negotiations getting completed go to "day to day", and in the next 18 hours they go to "hour to hour". Take Wenger's advice: you can't rely on what he said in the last press conference two days ago as an indication of business being done. |

Is it confirmed that Draxler is injured for 2 months? If so then I really don't see how he will help our cause much this season. |

In relation to Vucinic, I believe this player would be a good signing. He is very versatile and can play well in the centre, and has also played on the right or on the left for Juventus. |
