Strikers initiating contact

For me this is getting to be as big a problem as simulation. its one thing to anticipate contact & wait for it & go down, its another thing altogether ,& creeping into the game at an alarming rate ,for strikers to actually "tackle" whilst in possession. A good example was the Shane Long PK appeal v Palace. A lot of pundits are claiming a poor decision by the ref not to award a PK, but when you look at the incident closely, Long actually goes out of this way to to put his leg between the defenders & initiate the contact.

Between this & simulation refs have a really tough time on their hands dealing with PK appeals, which seem to be growing at an alarming rate. barely a game passes when there isn't a hotly debated PK appeal these days

This is why we were flummoxed at your original insistence that Ramires' penalty at home against West Brom was legit. As to your closing statement, that's exactly why we need retroactive bans following video inspection.

Really glad not to see massive hypocrisy at play here. Since that's where this is heading...

Stop being a whinging cunt.
Fuck off you snotnosed little cunt. if you can't actually add to a football debate then leave it alone & concentrate on learning about the game so you can post some of our own thoughts & not those borrowed from others

Oh, so it's "debate" when you say something, but when someone you disagree with says something it's "whinging" and they're a "whinging cunt?"
Okay, now I get it.

Here's a debate for you:

Speaking of strikers who initiate contact and dive, is there any doubt now that Rooney is moving to Chelsea this summer?

No fuckwit, its a debate when a topic is actually discussed & not ruined by a prick like you who previously left the board in tears claiming he was being trolled . This could have, & should have been a decent topic but fuckwits like yourself, santry & simpleton slow Joe decided to troll & derail it

I hope you wont run off crying next time it happens to you

Yes , there is a huge doubt Rooney will join Chelsea

You know, bill. For someone who keeps claiming that all these other people are ruining threads, what do you think you've been doing the last few days? You claim to come here to "talk footy", but you've been on some sort of foul-mouthed crusade (the same thing you're berating JODB for).
