A must win game for us after our unexpected draw with Southampton in our last game mid-week. Our likely line-up : Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs/Monreal, Ozil, Cazorla, Oxlade, Gnabry, Podolski, Giroud. Bench: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Rosicky, Zalelam A hard fought 3-0 victory in store for our Gunners, Go Gunners!!!! Edited by gunnerwynner, Feb 2 2014, 07:12 AM.

Agreed a must win, or suddenly we find ourselves looking at the results of other teams or chasing points in more difficult games. As Palace are hitting balls, not in channels but straight down the middle we need to figure out how to cope with that. Per has been great in the air, but I worry when Kos goes for a header and Per tries to cover. At this part of the season Per isn't running at the same speed. Penalty misses and former loyalties aside Puncheon and Chamakh are going to be feeding off long stuff and hoping for just such a 1 v 1 situation. The solution is bring Vermaelen in with KOs, but just for this game. The midfield, I have no clue whether your suggestion will be selected... Ox, Cazorla and Özil seems a little too attacking focused for me. If Rosicky is back he will get the nod ahead of the Ox, while Gnabry could make way in the RWF position. Rosicky might not be fully match fit and has to play with a protective mask if he is selected to play. |

Dead right, I think at the back of my mind I thought he was injured. That's a relief, Arteta for the axis role in midfield, Rosicky in front (confirmed available and trained with the team) and Özil. We've actually played well previously with those three in combination. I feel better. Yeah, this has to be a win now. Do it! |
