thank heavens for half time. we need to take stock, regroup & then come out sticking it to dat lot. so frustrating way they strangle out our opportunities.

Don't understand why Gibbs isn't playing against a team parking the bus at home. All of our best action seems to go through Monreal.

Ox needs to start taking players on or Rosicky should replace him.

We're a little bit narrow. Wouldn't mind seeing Ox and Santi switch.

I think we need to pull back - I suspect that's the only way CP can pull up/out of their shell. We are attacking, as usual, giving their tactic (parking the bus) more leverage. Pulling back will allow a shift in their approach and may give us room to maneuver and possible exploit.

From The Desk:

So far, the only Arsenal attacker that seems both willing and able to take it at his man and beat him is Podolski. With the bus parked, others will need to join him, particularly The Ox, if the Gunners are to break through.

As I can't see Palace troubling the back four at all, Arteta would seem a bit superfluous, and it would be nice to see Rosicky or Gnabry added to the mix instead.

Mert reading all and playing strong despite a bit of madness where he confused himself with his countryman Ozil and attempted dribble out of the back and into the attack.

With all the attention that Giroud is getting in the middle, it seems that the best opportunities might likely come from balls deflected out of the mixer to an onrushing midfielder around the top of the box. Santi and Ox, I'm talking to you. Pounce!

TP - Tony Pulos and toilet paper. Both should be flushed after use.
