He looks like a Spurs manager from day 1. |

If Laudrup goes to sperms, it's very bad news for us indeed. |

Apparently there was lots going on behind the scenes http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/swansea-sacked-michael-laudrup-phoning-3112286#.UvHnOEKSxWb Laudrup went on a vacation to Paris and gave the team a 2 day off after loosing a game. Looks like his head was not in it. If that is the case, Jenkins is right to sack him. But still its a gamble. They had to spend money to sack him too. But Laudrup's achievement with the club was worthy of a better conclusion. Its going to be tough for them to survive. |

well there were observations that he looks disinterested in games, and trying to play tiki-taka against the big boys when you are desperate for points and lack he players to execute your tiki taka didn't do laudrup any favours. The owners had little or no choice but to fire him in this instance. |

Seems like Laudrup wasn't working very hard and basically not taking interest in coaching the team. And there were complaints about unprofessionalism and lack of discipline within the squad from the players. In that case it was right to get rid of him before things got even worse. |

Well, I'm sure he's got his side of the story. Assuming for the moment that he was'nt interested you couldn't tell from his last few press conferences. And last year I thought he did huge work. Who knows, maybe he had a personal issue. If that's the case the club are right to end his contract. |

Some comments from Laudrup himself. http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1706607/michael-laudrup-hits-swansea-sacking?cc=5901 And surely, surely there can be no substance to the rumors linking Hoddle to the new vacancy?! Edited by dsch15, Feb 6 2014, 07:29 PM.

I think that Hoddle is a vile creature born of a wicked past life. I did love the way he looked in that powder blue manager's kit with the shorts, though. Kind of like an eight year-old going off to summer camp. |
